Treatsie September 2015 Subscription Box

Treatsie is a couture candy of the month club that delivers individually sourced confections from all over the world to your mailbox.

The Box

Treatsie ships via USPS during the second half of the month. They have a shipping calendar on their website which you can check to find exact shipment dates for future months. In the warmer months Treatsie uses cool packs in their shipments (when necessary) to make sure everything arrives in perfect condition.

First Look

Treatsie will usually announce a spoiler before your box arrives, but I never see full spoilers until I open this one up.

The Information Card

The September 2015 Treatsie box included the following items:

~Salty Road Salty Caramel Apple Salt Water Taffy: I love Salty Road Taffy, but (as I have said before), I feel like it’s becoming one of those items that’s a little overdone in subscription boxes.  But it is delicious and comes in lots of delicious flavors.

~Marlo’s Bakeshop Soft Baked Biscotti (Original, Banana & Midnight): Marlo’s Bakeshop is the “featured” brand this month, so Treatise included three different favored biscotti.  They they softer than other biscotti I have tried, but they do have a nice crunch. The banana one would be amazing with your afternoon cup of coffee.

~Mighty Brittle Maple Pecan Brittle: This “ain’t no ordinary brittle”.  LOL!  It’s made with organic sugar instead of corn syrup and also has all natural pecans and local maple syrup.  I don’t love brittle, so I will give this to B to take to work.

I didn’t do a cost breakdown for Treatsie, but the value of the box is typically right around the cost.  I am hoping that with the cooler weather coming we’ll be getting more chocolate treats from Treatsie!

If you are interested in subscribing to Treatsie you can use the coupon code “HOF028VDE3” to save $10 off your first month, making it just $9.95!
