Beauty Box 5 ships via DHL. This month’s box shipped later than normal, but they did send out an e-mail about the delay, so it wasn’t a huge deal.
This month’s box was very pink!
As you may have guessed, the October 2015 Beauty Box 5 theme was “Think Pink!” and included the following items
~Happy Face Makeup Cleansing Cloth ($3.99): I would love to know the science behind this, but I don’t have a clue. With just water, this thing is supposed to remove all the makeup from your face. And it’s machine washable so you can reuse. I almost put a fateful of makeup on just so I could try this! LOL.
~Ferro Cosmetics Pink Rhinestone Kabuki Brush ($25): I can’t find this exact brush on the website so I used the price Beauty Box 5 has listed on the information card. This brush works for foundations, powders, blushes, bronzes and basically anything else you can think of. It’s super soft and while WB and I were testing it, we didn’t have any issues with loose bristles.
~Styli-Style Perfect Pout Long Lasting Lip Balm ($4.99): I’d call this a shimmery hot pink. You don’t have to put on a ton and make it crazy bright, but you can if you want.
~Knotty Hair Ties ($3.99): I can always use more hair ties! These look good on your wrist (I always have a hair tie on my wrist), but my hair does get stuck in them. Not when they are in my hair, but when I take them out there are little hairs all stuck up in the knot. Does that happen to anyone else or is it just me?
~Nubar Nail Polish Mini ($4.99): Love this tiny little polish! It’s a custom shade created just for Beauty Box 5 and is called “Pinkober”. It’s super pretty and is also natural, non-toxic and vegan.
All totaled I came up with a value of $37.96 for the October 2015 Beauty Box 5. I thought this was a solid month for them and was quite pleased with everything!
