GiftLit is a monthly subscription of books for children and adults. They offer 3, 6 and 12-month subscriptions for adults and children in a wide variety of categories.  I received a subscription for L who is 7 years-old from their 5-8 year-old subscriptions.  These subscriptions, which are a minimum of 3-months, begin at $47.95 ($15.98/month).  You are able to customize your monthly book choices or you can stick with GiftLit suggestions.

All Wrapped Up

The books are always neatly gift wrapped with a note on the front.  L received the following this month:

~Ms. Cuddy Is Nutty! ($15.89): This is such a silly book and a perfect pick for L.  Any book that keeps his attention and makes him WANT to read is a good book to me. I am going to have to check out some other books from this series for him.

As noted by the Amazon price on this one, I wouldn’t call it a value subscription.  It’s definitely a convenience subscription or one you would use for gifts.  They do make great selections though and I appreciate that!

  1. These books are super popular in my library – there are many more in the series so if he enjoyed it then he should be able to find more! Most of them come in paperback too so if you were going to buy any I would go that route.

I hope they have some at his school!
