All I know is that mine is due to be delivered within the hour and I STILL couldn’t keep away from looking at this….

    1. Jennifer

      You and me both.

  2. Dianna

So glad I cancelled! What is with the over-abundance of OFRA products in their boxes?! I haven’t been impressed with LLB in some time, it used to be one of my favorites!

  3. Robin

My box Is due to be delivered today, so I will wait to have the box in my hands before I offically decide what I think. But from the spoilers, I am very disappointed. Is OFRA the only beauty products they have access to or what? I signed up for LLB because I had the subscription box bug and wanted another box because I loved popsugar so much. But man, they really have not lived up to my expectations! Probably going to cancel. Right now, I love love love popsugar and mommymailbox is a distant second. And llb is just lame! Especially their wordy themes…. Pointless if everything is the same! (OFRA)

  4. Robin

… On a positive note, their shipping is fabulous!

I got mine today! Im obsessed with the travel perfume decanter!! I filled it right up with my fave perfume, went right in my purse.
The tea sample is really cute. Love that.
The pashmina was soooooo soft, orchid is not my color but to keep around for when my girls get chilly will be nice.
I dunno. I like Ofra. I have no issues.
Overall. The box didnt scream autumn to me. But i think they find the most fun neat things. The travel atomizer that u can fill with your own perfume is great. I never would have thought of that.

  6. HeatherP

And on a side note… I finally picked a pic for my canvas from the spring box. I LOVE IT!!! I chose a pic of my daughter holding lilly of the valley. Came out so cute. She was walking around showing everyone her pic! cant wait to hang it up.

  7. heidi

I hate to be a Debby downer but I hated this box! It does not feel like autumn to me at all, how many times are they going to put Ofra products in our box? I received the light pink cashmere pashmina if anybody would like to swap for different color please let me know. Thank you!

  8. Miranda

I am completely bummed with this box. I can usually find at least one thing (if not several) in a sub box that I’m excited about or will at least use. The pashmina and lip gloss could have been those items, but they are not flattering colors on me at all. So sad!

  9. lisad

I just received my box. It’s not one of my favorites. Unfortunately I won’t use any of the makeup. However, I did like the travel perfume holder as its one of those things you would never think to buy but would be happy to receive one as a gift. I hope December includes some holiday bling.

  10. Kyla

Heidi, I have the white pashmina and would love the pink. If that’s a color you want to swap for email me kylajaclyn AT yahoo DOT com. I did open it but haven’t worn it at all.

    1. Callie

Hi Kyla – if she doesn’t follow up, I’d trade you the pink for the white. I took it out of the bag and hung it in my closet, but haven’t worn it.

  11. Natalie

I absolutely hated this box apart from the scarf. Isn’t it ironic that the theme was “Authenic” Autumn. How is loading your face with makeup being authentic? This is the complete opposite of what I thought this box would be. First and last box for me.

  12. heidi

    Emailing you now Kyla!

  13. Tara

I got my box today and am definitely disappointed …the scarf is pretty but how many scarfs can a person own? Other than that I will try the makeup products but they don’t excite me at all and will probably give the decanter as a teacher gift. Worst box yet from little lace box in my opinion. Maybe they shouldn’t have started the other subscription serendipity if they can’t keep this one having good products.

    1. Chandra

So I hate this box. I mean not everyone wears makeup so why include so many in the box. I canceled as soon as I saw the spoilers. I tried to love this box but it’s been dissappointing for me. I think I’ll try out Sun of Chic now that I’ve got extra money.

  14. AmyM

I’m very happy with the box over all, the only thing i would change is the color of the pashmina. I received the white (or maybe the cream, honestly not sure), and would have preferred the orchid or the pink. Other than that I think everything is lovely and interesting. The tea mints and the atomizer are so cool! And the tea sample is worth it for the packaging alone. I have no issue with receiving OFRA cosmetics. It’s nice to have cosmetics made in the USA. As far as not feeling like fall, it does to me, and I live in a warm climate like they do. For us folks, fall is more a state of mind than an actual season. So a scarf, tea, deeper lip color…all those things feel like fall to us.

  15. Tee

The lipstick makes me look like someone unbalanced. My son thought I was “playing Halloween”. My husband laughed until he had a stomach cramp. It’s horrendous! Overall, I don’t think I’m a OFRA fan. I didn’t care for the stuff we recieved in the other box either. Definitely not my favorite LLB.

  16. Kate

I’m pretty easy to please, but I am super disappointed in my LLB this month. First and foremost I look horrible in stark white – not many can wear white – I’m a fair blue eyed blonde, white washes me out. All the makeup products are stuff I would expect in an Ipsy bag. The decanter isn’t something I’ll use and I’m not a fan of mints. I guess I’ll use the tea. Honestly I read someone else say they just threw everything back in the box so they wouldn’t have to think about it — that is how I felt. Maybe if I had another color besides white for the pashima I could find something redeeming to say. I am going to give this one more try in December, and if I’m as disappointed that month as well I am cancelling. I’ve been thrilled with Pop Sugar boxes all of 2015, and if LLB doesn’t come close to what I get from them every month next month, we’re done.

    1. Callie

Hi Kate, I’d trade you the pink for the white. I took it out of the bag and hung it in my closet, but haven’t worn it.

      1. Kate

Hi Callie – I would love that trade! How does it work? Mine is still in the package, I am fine that yours is opened. I’ve never traded but send me an email and let me know what we need to do – kat7hens@aol.com – thanks!

  17. Victoria

I LOVE LLB. I am not happy with this box. I’m bummed.

  18. me

    …sigh.

  19. Laurie

Really disappointed in this one. I received the cream pashmina, which is really more of a tan. Not bad, but not terribly autumn-y, and definitely not worth $30-something. And I’m beginning to suspect they own stock in Ofra. I just think they really missed the mark with this one. Hopefully the Christmas box will be better – last year’s was probably the best box I’ve ever gotten.

    1. Laurie

Oh, and I forgot to add – one teabag? Seriously? ONE teabag?

  20. Helen

When I compare earlier LLBoxes with this, the current one come up very short indeed. I’m another sick-of-Ofra subscriber. They began by giving out Ofra products as freebies when they introduced Serendipity – now it’s in every box!
I got the lilac Pashmina and it makes me look washed out. I can’t use the travel perfume container as I use perfume oil and it can’t be decanted. Epic Fail!
It seems that subscribers to the regular box no longer get the Serendipity thrown in. I must have missed their update on that!
I wish I could cancel, I signed up for an entire year back in January. le sigh

  21. Susan

Two words: epic fail. This might be the worst box I’ve ever received. Like others have said, enough with the Ofra (cheap-feeling brand) and you can buy those exact pashminas from NYC street vendors for $5. Like others, I’m going to see December’s box Box and then make a decicion, but I sense cancelling is in the future. Plus, the grammatical mistakes on the insert makes it feel like an amateur operation.

    1. Kate

I was thinking today this was the worst box I’ve ever received too. I’ve done Pop Sugar monthly for years, plus most of the LE boxes, Glossy Box, Ipsy, that one box that used to send the scarves (Pashbox? Wish that one was still around, I loved it!), and of course LLB. Unlike others, I am typically pretty satisfied with LLB, although I agree that the wow factor has steadily gone down hill in 2015. But for instance last box I thought was great – I liked the vase, it felt “special”. It wasn’t really me, but I loved that it was handcrafted and for those who didn’t see it in their own house, certainly they could gift it to someone else. The flowers were a real treat. However, this month, there is not one thing in this box that has made me even a tiny bit excited. Very very odd and unlike LLB imo. It’s almost like another company curated this box. I’m just perplexed….

  22. R.

I signed up for LLB in February after reviewing the 2014 and January 2015 reviews. I was beyond excited to receive this box each month. I have to be honest though, I have not been wowed at all, not even one time! I have refrained from commenting up until this point out of fear that my subscription would mysteriously be cancelled, ( which in itself is depressing/pathetic enough to admit ) but I have been continuously underwhelmed with each LLB so far this year. At this point, I feel like I’m in an abusive relationship with this box! I didn’t cancel for fear that things “will get better if I just give it one more chance” but I also didn’t say anything because they might publically shame and humiliate me like they did the last person to dare question there item choices.

However, I think after this spoiler, I’m officially DONE with LLB. The truth is there ego’s are almost as overinflated as their prices and it’s really just a bunch of nonsense thrown in a box.

I wish I had not signed up for 12 months of LLB last December. While I loved the first box (January 2015), all of the rest have been extremely disappointing. It seems like they pick a theme and they try to find stuff to fit which most of the time they don’t so when you get the box you cannot figure out what they had in mind at all. The October theme was supposed to be Style per the spoiler info that came out last month. I am not sure how the items included relate to “style.” I would cancel my LLB subscription if I had not prepaid for it. Honestly I end up giving away or swapping nearly all the stuff.

    1. suzym

This box was like getting a generic discount box. The reason I subscribed to LLB was because their first several boxes were beautiful, thoughtful and more original than others on the market. There is no way the people who curated those boxes with care, curated this one thinking it was a hit. The pashmina and travel perfume container are just cheap and the overload of make-up (yes, enough with the Ofra) is not the standard they set with previous boxes. Also, you can’t go to every other month, increase the price and deliver less special and interesting boxes. I am giving a little more time to see if they get it back to their original mission. Those boxes up to and including Nonna’s Kitchen were wonderful.

  24. S.

I’m beyond disapointed with this box. That scarf is hardly the definition of luxurious cashmere as the newsletter claims…more like a $5 street purchase in any major city. My lip gloss Rio is the ugliest color I’ve ever worn, and it was thick and gloppy. I like the travelo and will use that. The $3 mints and travelo are the only two items I’ll use. This box feels like a hodgepodege of items bought from Alibaba.

  25. Sara

I got my box Saturday and hated it too. I opened it then immediately put it all back in and tossed it in the corner until this morning. This is probably the worst box I’ve ever received, the liquid lipstick color is HORRIBLE who looks good in that shade? I’d be ok with the primer but I received one in my January Wantable box and haven’t used it yet either. The pashmina is ok, but like everyone said so 10 years ago. This box did seem really cheap to me and nothing says autumn to me at all. The perfume decanter is made in China. Just nothing I would ever use, already listed everything for swap this morning.

    1. Cyndi P

The mints were made in China too. I threw mine away. This box was truly one of the worst I have ever received. I expected more from LLB, which I guess is why I am so disappointed. 🙁

  26. margaret

So glad I am not alone in being extremely dissatisfied with this box. The October box doesn’t seem to compare to previous boxes… While I don’t expect them to be able to meet all of my interests/wants, this one was just way off the mark. Too much make up. The pashmina is ok, but I don’t think it’s worth what they say. I am saving that for a gift for a friend. I know I will never use the perfume decanter, so I am saving that for a white elephant gift. I’m looking forward to the one tea bag and maybe the mints… I think this will be my first and last Little Lace Box.

  27. Stacey

What is happening to LLB? I am about to cancel. I just received my box and I don’t even know what to think. Its terrible. No imagination and way too much OFRA. The pashmina is cheap and definitely not a fall color.. Everything just seems cheap, even the packaging and item list. I dunno. This is almost as disappointing as the Hawaii escape monthly from last year. haha
Does anyone know if they take returns?

  28. CarMa

Did anyone receive a “Serindipity” box? I’m so confused by this month.

  29. Sandi

I would have loved to receive the cream color pashmina. If anyone wants to trade theirs for my pink one please let me know. I haven’t even removed it from the wrapper yet! 🙂

  30. Melissa

Hey Jen, Did you do the full review with pictures yet? I couldn’t find it anywhere on your site.

  31. CJ

There are some polite but blunt comments being posted by subscribers on the llb Facebook page and llb is allowing them on there. Since so many people were disappointed by this box, I encourage you to comment on their Facebook page so they understand just how much people dislike this box and hopefully won’t do anything this bad again. I signed up for an annual subscription in June after the rate hike and I’m really upset I paid $60 for makeup that I don’t need and trinkets made in China…

    1. Kate

I see only a couple of negative reviews on their FB page, and they are all really pussyfooting around the fact that this box doesn’t come anywhere close to anything they have ever sent before. The 3 makeup items alone felt “wrong” to me. I feel like I got an Ipsy bag without the bag and a stark white wrap that I’ll never wear. Oh and a tea bag.

I’m not going to put that on their social media, though, because LLB has sent me so many delightful things over the year or so I’ve subscribed. I’m in love with a few things – the Olive dish washing soap they sent with Nonna’s kitchen (loved that whole box! Now that was a theme!), the Audrey perfume from last box, the flower delivery, the Kitsch ring. I’ve been happy with all of the body products they have sent – I can always use body wash or lotion. Makeup is so specific, I really hate to see more than one product of makeup in any box, unless it’s like some of the Pop Sugar hero items, like a Too Faced Palette or the like. These odd little brands, and 3 of the same brand no less, ummm, no. Anyway, hoping it was just a bad month. I looked back through the boxes I’ve received, and this is by far my least favorite. They have the ability to do better. Hopefully December will knock our socks off. I never expect to be wowed by every single item in the box (although I was with Nonna’s kitchen!) but I want to at least sort of like one thing – wasn’t the case this time, every item was a bust.
