The Information Card

The October 2015 Olfactif theme was “Falling” and included the following scents:

~Intense Cafe (Montale): Intense Cafe is indeed intense. It’s described as a “velvety gourmand rose” and has notes of coffee, rose, amber, vanilla and white musk. I found it to be strong – very strong. The rose was almost overwhelming for me. Not my favorite of the bunch that’s for sure.

Intense Cafe (Montale)

~Autumn (Dasein): Autumn is described as “cinnamon-inflected woods” and has notes of agar wood, amber, incense, cedar, coffee and cinnamon bark. I feel like this would be amazing in a candle, but as a perfume it just wasn’t for me. I could pick up a ton of cinnamon in it and I don’t think that’s a good scent for me personally. This is one though that if I smelled on someone else, I probably would compliment them on though.

Autumn (Dasein)

~Geisha Noire (Aroma M): Geisha Noire is described as a “smoky, sultry amber”. It has notes of black amber, sandalwood, tonka bean and vanilla. I wasn’t expecting to like this one as much as I do.  The amber isn’t as strong as I was expecting and after it dries it’s quite lovely.

Geisha Noire (Aroma M)
