Serendipity by Little Lace Box September 2015

Little Lace Box is a subscription service that delivers hand-curated, nearly impossible-to-find designer products directly to your doorstep every other month. Boxes will be brimming with high-end, brand name beauty, lifestyle, and home product samples to treat yourself to and dazzle your friends during your next night out.  They now also offer Serendipity by Little Lace Box. It’s $9.99/bi-monthly and is a separate subscription from LLB. Serendipity will be sent out every other month (on the off months of the Little Lace Box) and includes five to seven sample size (sometimes full-size) items that don’t have any theme attached at all, just great little finds that LLB wanted to share.

The Package

Serendipity by Little Lace Box ships via USPS First Class Mail and took almost a week to arrive to me. I think mine may have gotten caught up somewhere because it probably should have only taken a week.

First Look

I took a little peek at this month’s shipment before it arrived, so I did know what to expect.

The Information Card

The September 2015 Serendipity by Little Lace Box, their first month out of “test” mode, included the following items:

~Beekman 1802 Honeyed Grapefruit Facial Cleansing Wipes ($7): Ohhh, I love these!  They are scented with notes of red grapefruit, guava and lemon blossoms and smell amazing.  And they work.  They are by no means harsh, but I could feel them working. Also, $7 for 30 wipes is beyond reasonable and I can so see myself buying these again.

Beekman 1802 Honeyed Grapefruit Facial Cleansing Wipes

~Triple Fusion Mud Masque by Mindful Minerals (2oz) ($6): This mask is made with “a fusion of our mineral rich muds from the Dead Sea, volcanic ash and Green Clay mined from the French Mediterranean rock quarries, this completely natural, organic material has over 35 minerals and trace elements to deep clean and detoxify the skin.” It works to stimulate cell turnover, decongest pores and also helps to even out the complexion. I always enjoy mud masks, but I have been using a bunch lately (too many), so I am going to hold off on this one for a bit.

~Mind Your Hair Conditioner by Mindful Minerals (1.75oz) ($2.49): My sister-in-law is trying to go chemical free, so I think this would be a fabulous product to pass along to her.  It’s totally free of harmful chemicals, sulfates, parabens, phthalates and artificial fragrance and is designed to balance the scalp PH and add moisture and minerals to your hair.

~Beekman 1802 Wondermint Lip Balm Stick ($8): I love all lip balms, so yep, I love this.  I really love the tube that the lip balm comes in.  How gorgeous is that?  With all the fabulous Beekman 1802 products that LLB has sent, I wouldn’t be sad they started their own box!

~Brown Eyeliner by OFRA Cosmetics ($13):  I think we have gotten an OFRA product in every Serendipity that has been sent out so far.  Granted there has only been two (I believe) plus this one, but still.  It’s a good brand, but I’d like to see things mixed up a bit more.

All totaled I came up with a value of $36.49 for the October 2015 Serendipity by LLB. For $9.99, this is a steal!  The Beekman items alone were worth the cost of the box and considering I’d pay full price for each of them, I am thrilled.  everything else in it was just a bonus!

Did you get a Serendipity by LLB this month?  What do you think?  If you are interested in ordering Serendipity or their traditional bi-monthly subscription (your first box will ship this month), head over to their site and check them out.
