Wantable Makeup October 2015 Subscription Box Review
Wantable Makeup October 2015 Subscription Box

Wantable offers five different types of subscription boxes. This box is their makeup box, which includes 4 to 5 full-sized premium makeup products, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. They also offer intimates, fitness, style and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. They recently switched things up a little and now allow you to return a just portion of your box if you want!  Wantable now lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the Retail Price so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return items.  If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $36.

The Box

Wantable ships via DHL Global Mail and took just under a week to arrive.  Wantable (typically) ships at the same time each month based on when you originally subscribed.  So if you subscribed at the end of the month, your box will always ship at the end of the month.

First Look
Second First Look

First look was a good one!  I have gotten some fabulous Wantable boxes over the years and some not so fabulous ones, but I never get nervous opening a Wantable box because I know if I hate it all I can always return it.

Preferences

Like I mentioned before (and like I do every month), you can totally customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing.  Eyeliner is my only dislike and that seems to be working out well. I was going to change Skincare to a love, but I decided to hold off on that for a month or so because I am testing out the new Honest Beauty Skincare line.

The Information Card

My October 2015 Wantable Makeup Box contained the following items:

~Eddie Funkhouser Quattro Variable Mascara (Retail $12.99, Your Price: $5.15): The extendable wand must be the latest trend in mascara these days.  This one allows you to dial it up to get “max fullness”.  Or if you are wearing it to work you can tone it down.  This would be a good one to through in your bag for work and to use for going out after. It wasn’t my favorite formula, but for the price and the cool wand, I think it made up for it.

Eddie Funkhouser Quattro Variable Mascara

~Terre Mere Mineral Blush (Nectar) (9g / 0.31oz) (Retail $54, Your Price: $21.39): This is a HUGE container.  Like I actually thought it was powder at first.  This will last forever as a blush!  The color is a dark tan with a little orange and is really nice for my skin tone.

Terre Mere Mineral Blush (Nectar)

~Mosi Mei Magnanimous Nail Polish (Retail $15, Your Price $5.94): Love this!  Mosi Mei is a 5-free polish, cruelty free and vegan.  It’s a two coat polish and I think it’s going to be great for Fall and for holiday parties.  It’s a super pretty silver / copper shimmer, but it’s not too much.

Mosi Mei Magnanimous Nail Polish

~Mirabella Colour Palette Violet Vision (Retail $19, Your Price $7.53): The information card describes these as “tones of apricot, honey and medium brown”, but something must have gotten mixed up, because these are lavender, purple and plum.  At least that’s what I would describe them as. I probably would get more use out of the brown trio, but I also have a TON of brown shadows so this is probably better.

Mirabella Colour Palette Violet Vision

All totaled my October 2015 Wantable Makeup box had a value of $100.99.  That is probably one of the most valuable Wantable Makeup boxes I have received lately.  I thought the “Your Price” prices on these items was amazing and will be keeping the entire box.

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup, accessories, intimates, fitness or the new style edit) this month? And if you don’t subscribe, what are you waiting for? There is no risk involved so why not?
