Treatsie is a couture candy of the month club that delivers individually sourced confections from all over the world to your mailbox.
Treatsie ships via USPS during the second half of the month. They have a shipping calendar on their website which you can check to find exact shipment dates for future months.
I knew one of the items that the box would include but that was it.
The November 2015 Treatsie box contained the following items:
~Laurie & Sons Milk Chocolate Toffees (Sea Salt): You know what these are? Maybe just the best toffees ever. I don’t know if it’s because they are small and coated with chocolate and topped with sea salt or if it’s because I was eating it during the amazing Michigan State game last night ;). Either way it was amazing.
~Tumbador Pecan Caramels: I loved the dark chocolate in here and I loved the caramel, but the pecans I could have done without. But that’s because I don’t personally like pecans. I am sure if you did like them you’d love these.
~Quince & Apple Apples & Cranberry: I don’t know that I would necessarily classify this as a “sweet”, but we’ll use it. It’s a combination of “local apples, cranberries, honey, orange zest, ginger and bay leaves”. You can use it on meats or in Thanksgiving dishes or on an english muffin or toast.
~Velvet Rope Bake Shop Sweet & Salty Cookies – Salted Caramel Apple Oatmeal: Delicious! They are chewy and soft and have just the right amount of caramel. I’ve never attempted to make cookies with caramel in them and these have inspired me to try it.
I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box (I never do), but like I say every month, it’s not a “value” subscription. You won’t be saving any money on this box, but you will get to try a ton of fun treats which is why I subscribe.
