The Information Card

The December 2015 BuddhiBox included the following items:

~Detox Scrub – Hara Healing ($15): I can’t seem to find this shop online.  I found one I thought was it, but the packaging was different was I don’t know?  Anyway, I was surprised when I opened this up and found that it was only half full.  It’s possible it settled in transit, but that seems like a lot of settling?  Anyway, the scrub itself is great!  I liked that it was liquidity and it smelled great!

~Ganesh Nail Polish – Rega Varnish ($12.50): This is a gorgeous shade of gray! On top of that, proceeds from the sale of Ganesha (which is the name for this color) go to Elephant Family, which is a charity to protect Asian elephants and their habitat.

~Chakra Teas – Buddha Teas ($8.99): This tea helps with creativity, sensuality and our connection to others.  I have a big box of teas to give to my cousin for Christmas and this is in it.  I don’t drink tea, but I hear that this brand is amazing!

~Serenity Massage & Body Oil – Back to Africa ($8.16): This is like being at the spa. It’s a Lavender Rosemary scent (I don’t know if a variety of scents were sent out) and it’s fabulous.  I didn’t find the oil to be slippery, but it was moisturizing and left my skin smooth and soft.

~Antler Pendant in Pouch – Love ROWAN ($25): Love ROWAN sells products with a purpose. The necklace is a brass charm of a mule deer antler hanging from leather from Kenya.  The necklaces are sold in support of Antlers for Orphans, which is a campaign created to connect natural resources to meeting real needs across the world.  The pouch can be used to store your necklace or for other treasures.

~Bath Bomb – Real Beauty for a Cause ($5): Each season Real Beauty for a Cause makes their Bath Bombs in a different scent. This seasons scent is “Rose & Geranium”.  It’s described as “an explosion of scent to your bath”.  Their products are 100% natural and all are handmade.

~HEMP Hearts (Sample): This isn’t listed on the card, so I am assuming it was just a little bonus item.  I have received them in assorted subscription boxes over the years and I have found that they are best in salads. You can eat them straight from the bag or on yogurt, but I like them crunchiness they bring to salad.

All totaled I came up with a value of $74.65 for the December 2015 BuddhiBox. I don’t know that it was my favorite box they have sent out, but I thought it was very well put together and I could tell they put a lot of care into the select of the items.
