Citrus Lane November 2015 Subscription Box Review (3 Year-Old Boy)
Citrus Lane December 2015 Subscription Box

Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription box for children from 0 to 5 years old which contains four or more products selected especially for the age and stage of your child. It’s $29/month, but the price decreases to $24.95 with a 6-month subscription.  I receive a box for WB (boy) who turned 3 in April.

I want to quick mention that Citrus Lane is closing their doors and December will be the last month they are shipping boxes. December 2015 and January 2016 boxes both shipped in December – this review is on my December box.

The Box

Citrus Lane ships via FedEx Smart Post and takes about a week to arrive.  They ship on (or slightly before) the 15th of the month and I generally expect to receive my box by the 20th of the month.

First Look

The December box didn’t have an information card and I am guessing the January one won’t either.  Here is what my 3.5 year-old “boy” December Citrus Lane box included:

~Missing Socks Matching Game by Chronicle Books ($14.58): LOVE this game!  It seems like it’s going to be much more fun than actually matching socks from the laundry ;).  And how could it not?  At least I know all of these will have a match!  Until we lose one anyway.

~Melissa & Doug Let’s Play House Working Can Opener & Cans ($8.49): OMG this is adorable!  These cans actually seal and open with the can opener.  We have a play kitchen in the basement and this will go right down there.  So fun.

~Squigz (10 pieces) (~$10): I tried to build with these little suckers (see what I did there) and didn’t really turn into anything, but building was fun.  They stick together great and don’t leave any marks on the wall ( tried), table or whatever you want to build on.

~Back To Nature Crispy Cheddar Crackers (~$1): I think I first discovered Back to Nature products from Citrus Lane, so it’s only fitting they are in this box.  These taste like Cheez-It’s, but they contain no hydrogenated oil and no high fructose corn syrup.  I don’t even think my kids can tell the difference between the two.

~TOCA Life Town: The box also included a lifetime pass to TOCA Life Town.  It’s an App, but that’s about all I know.

All totaled I came up with a value of $34.07 for the December 2015 Citrus Lane box.  I have always liked Citrus Lane and will be sad to see them go ;(. If you are looking for alternatives, check out bluum (0-5 years old) or / or A Little Bundle (0-3 years old)!

Did you get a Citrus Lane this month?  What age did you get and what came in your box?
