December 2015 Birchbox Man Subscription Box – “Home & Hearth” + Coupon Code

Birchbox Man is $20/month and sends you monthly deliveries of deluxe grooming and lifestyle samples, tailored to your profile. With Birchbox Man you can try cult brands, up-and-coming lines, and everything in between.

The Box

Birchbox Man USPS (through Newgistics) and generally arrives during the first few days of the month or the last few days or the previous month.

The Birchbox Man Box

Once again we opted for the “regular” box this month instead of the curated “Arctic Explorer Box” which includes Das Boom Denali Everywhere LotionClinique for Men Charcoal Face WashEnglish Laundry Arrogant Eau de ToiletteJao Face Creme and Naadam Speer Cashmere Beanie. This box would replace your regular monthly Birchbox Man box if you selected it.

This month’s Lifestyle choices were Topo Designs Navy Watch Cap ($18), W&P Copper Flask ($36) or Bombas Calf and Ankle Socks ($22).  I have no recollection of making a selection which leads me to believe I didn’t make one! LOL!  I probably couldn’t decide so I just left it to chance.

The Card

The Birchbox Man information card is now totally digital and can be located in your account online. The December 2015 Birchbox Man theme was “Hearth & Home” and included the following items:

~English Laundry Eau de Toilette Arrogant (2mL) ($2.72): The packaging on this made me think it was going to be a heavy / dark scent, but it’s actually fairly light and grassy.  It’s got a few deeper musky notes when it dries, but it’s still not overly strong.  I only wish the sample was bigger.

~Krochet Kids Intl. the 5207.5 ($31.95): These hats are made in Uganda and what’s really cool is that all of the hats are signed by the woman who created it!  Somehow we are always losing / misplacing hats so we can always use spares.

~CW BEGGS AND SONS Moisturizing Lotion (After Shave + Face Care) ($3.60): This is moisturizing lotion + after shave in one.  B hasn’t tried it yet (because he hasn’t shaved in weeks), but he has National Guard this weekend, so the time is coming!

~Jack Black Industrial Strength Hand Healer (0.5oz) ($2.50): Ohh, I love this!  It makes your hands smooth and moisturized and doesn’t leave them greasy at all.  If B doesn’t use every last drop of this, I certainly will.

~Fatboy Tough Guy Water Wax (~$2): B has another pomade he’s obsessed with right now, so I am going to use this one for L when his hair gets long enough to spike up!

All totaled I came up with a value of $42.77 for the December 2015 Birchbox Man box!  Including the points for purchasing the box (20 points = $2) and the points for reviewing the products / sharing on Facebook (60 points = $6), the real value of this box is $50.77.  It wasn’t B’s favorite box, but it was a solid Birchbox Man box!
