Love With Food December 2015 Tasting Box

Love With Food sends members a curated box filled unique gourmet food items. The “Tasting Box” is $9.99/month and offers with 8+ snacks and the “Deluxe” box is $19.95/month and includes 16-20 snacks. Love With Food also offers a Gluten-Free box for $24.99/month which includes 8-12 surprise gluten-free snacks each month. Each box brings new delights, with bites that vary based on seasonal themes. In addition, Love With Food donates a meal (some months they actually donate two meals) to a child in need with each box purchased, which you can read more about here.  This review is on the December Tasting Box.

The Box

Love With Food ships via USPS. Boxes typically ship on the 10th of the month. This month’s box arrived insanely quickly. I was blown away.

First Look

I always mention it, but Love with Food packs their boxes so full. I can never get them repacked again actually!

The Information Card
Inside

The December 2015 Love With Food theme was “Chocolate Makes The World Go Round” and included the following treats to help you power through the holidays:

~Bonus Item: Tea by Numi Tea: This is listed as a bonus item on the information card.  I will take it up-north for my cousin to enjoy!

~Chocolate Peppermint Stick Mini Bar by Luna: Chocolate Peppermint Stick Luna Bars are my absolute favorite protein type bar.  They are delicious.  My kids absolutely love them too!

~Liquicroc Caramels by Maison Pecou: Dark chocolate with a creamy caramel filling.  What could be wrong with this?  Nothing.  Nothing at all!

~Dark Chocolates with Creamy Coffee Filling by Cafe Britt: These are little chocolate candies with a creamy coffee filling.  I loved this almost as much as I loved the caramel one!

~PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter by Bell Plantation: Powdered peanut butter is somewhat weird and somewhat genius!  I remember years ago it used to be SO hard to find, but it seems like it’s becoming more mainstream.  It’s got 85% less fat than peanut butter, but I will admit, it just doesn’t taste the same.  Now, in a smoothie or a shake?  Yeah, this is the way to go!

~Bean Chips by Beanitos: Not my favorite flavor of Beanitos, but someone here will eat them.  And really, if you put salsa on them or dip them in cheese, they’ll be amazing.

~Handmade Fruit Leather by You Love Fruit: This is described as a “chewy fruit snack”.  I am going to save it to the boys as a special treat.  They had apples with peanut butter and cinnamon the other night at dinner and went wild for them.  Hopefully they feel the same way about these.

~Midnight Brownie Gluten-Free Cookies by Goodie Girl: Have you tried these? If not, you need to!  They are brownie flavored cookies.  For real. Think like a the texture of a Chips Ahoy, but brownie flavored.  They are guten-free too!

~Sweet Corn Crunch Dried Snacks by Sensible Foods: These dried corn is gluten-free, all-natural and non-GMO.  And contains just corn and salt.  They aren’t bad, just a little different. I think I will stick to have my corn on the cob ;).

~Free Gift: Love With Food Chapstick: The December 2015 Love With Food box also included a free little Love With Food chapstick.

~Golden Ticket: My box also contained a Golden Ticket!  Love with Food indicated that 20 boxes would have “BIG” prizes on their Golden Tickets and I am guessing that my one year subscription to Elle doesn’t qualify as that. Still I am absolutely thrilled with it!

The Prize!

This was one of my favorite Love With Food boxes in ages!  I loved all the chocolate snacks in it!
