Merry Christmas to you as well! I still remember reading about when you and your husband put together the bunk beds for your boys for Christmas! 🙂

I woke up super early to finish my desserts for Christmas dinner. My husband and I opened our presents for each other, and now he’ll be watching NBA basketball until we head to my sister’s house to meet up with the rest of my family to open more presents and have Christmas dinner there.

Did a huge brunch for my brothers and sisters stockings and gifts..no sledding this year so we saw joy at the theater and made the front page of the Oakland press with our pix from the 1960s!

Not-so-proud winner of the first one up on Christmas award for 25 years running now (I don’t know, it’s quite possibly 29, but I’m being conservative and thinking maybe my mom woke up earlier from 0-4?).

The big girls woke up around 8 though, and then we woke up the 2 year old and my husband,so not too bad! I only wandered around the house making noise for an hour or so 😛

We opened presents here, then at my grandparents and had French toast for breakfast, then we went over my in-laws where the kids went outside to play (WHAT?!), while we adults over indulged in amazing sangria and played cards for so long that we forgot to put the sides in the oven.. so we all picked at the ham for two hours while we made the rest 😛

Very untraditional Christmas, but it was actually A LOT of fun!
