~Good morning! Have you recovered from the Holidays yet? Well, I guess we aren’t quite done yet, but I have basically gotten Christmas put away around here. I need to get the big tree taken down and the outdoor decorations down, but the little tree is put away as are all the decorations.
~I think I mentioned it before (maybe?), but I have been wanting a farmhouse type window for the mantle. A few people recommended checking out Habitat for Humanity or Architectural Salvage Warehouse and sure enough they had what I wanted! ASW was actually closed (I do still want to check them out though), but the Habitat ReStore has a bunch to pick from and were only $11 each. I didn’t realize they’d be so inexpensive! I am going to rough them up a little bit more, but I am really happy with them.
~My mom and I went to IKEA last night and I finally bought curtains for the living room. And wouldn’t you know it, I didn’t buy enough bracket things! I bought 4 and I need 5. We haven’t had curtains in the living room in 7 years so I guess a few more days won’t matter. Although, the weather is supposed to get pretty nasty here tonight so I may run there this morning.

~I am expecting this to be a slow subscription box week, but I do still have a handful coming including Hammock Pack, Five Four Club and NewBeauty TestTube. I am guessing a few more will trickle in as well, but I am sure about those three.

Missed sentiments last night..love the windows ..have picked some out of trash from old lake houses around here but that was a great deal..have seen people who make table tops with them and photo behind..
Your Christmas is down really..that’s early eh?..feel like I just got it up don’t you? Lots of people r taking advantage of nice weather and getting the outside stuff down now
Here in the south, our Christmas was so uncharacteristicly warm that mine came down Saturday (we usually wait until New Years). With such warm weather and Mardi Gras decorations hitting the shelves it seemed odd going home to Christmas decorations any longer.
