The December 2015 PetGiftBox theme was “Season’s Greetings & Happy New Year” and included the following:

~Cloud Star Soft & Chewy Gingerbread Treats for Dogs ($5.95):  These treats are all-natural and made in the USA!  They are soft and chewy and in addition to being the perfect treats for my dogs (which both weigh about 11lbs), they are are so cute!  They are shaped like little gingerbread men and the dogs might not appreciate it, but I do!

~Zippypaws Holiday Scarf ($5.99): Baxter really wanted to wear this right away, but I suggested we save it until next year.  He’s pretty furry right now though so he doesn’t really need a scar, plus Christmas is over.

~PetGiftBox Gourmet Holiday Blend ($9.99): I don’t know that we’ve ever received a PetGiftBox holiday branded treat!  These are Roasted Beef tips and Krunchie Tubes. They are 100% natural with no additives and preservatives.

~Bundle Up Buddy Chew Toy ($9.99): Aww, this is so cute!  It’s a sturdy squeaky reindeer and is super cute.  It’s sturdy and will easily last for months with my dogs (and kids) playing tug of war with it.

~Pet House Candle Holidays Fur All Candle ($3.49): Believe it or not, I have never received a candle in a pet subscription box before! It makes complete sense to receive one though because, yeah, pets can get a little smelly at times.

~All totaled I came up with a value of $35,41 for the December 2015 PetGiftBox.  I always love seeing how they work with their themes because they always do such a great job!

I liked this box, and my 60lb hound who usually isn’t fond of clothing-type things didn’t mind the scarf at all! I looked at the candle company’s website and apparently the candles are specially designed to neutralize pet oders somehow. Win!

If you want to use the Christmas scarf you could go by the traditional 12 days of Christmas which is December 25-January 6. In some traditions, Christmas gifts are given on January 6 instead of December 25 to celebrate epiphany (the day of the 3 kings). The Christmas season ends too soon for me so I use this excuse to celebrate a little longer.
