The Boodle Box (One) December 2015 Subscription Box

The Boodle Box is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and a 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process! This box is for the 5-10 year-old age group (which is called the Boodle Box One).

The Box

The Boodle Box ships via USPS. Boxes arrive at the very beginning of the month (or at the end of the previous month), which I absolutely love.

First Look

I always love to compare the differences between Boodle One and Boodle Two. You can check out my review on the December Boodle Two box here, but they looked pretty similar at first glance (they really weren’t that similar though).

The Information Card

The December 2015 The Boodle Box theme is “Festive Fun” and included the following items:

~Faux Fur Cowl Neck Warmer ($17.99): The Boodle Box One and The Boodle Box Two both have Faux Fur Cowl Neck Warmers in the boxes, but this one is smaller than the one in box for older girls.  This could actually work as a neck warmer or as a headband to keep your ears warm!

~3-Piece Sparkle Headband Set (New York & Company) ($8): This is a set of three separate headbands.  They can be worn together if you like, but they are three separate pieces.  In addition to being fun and sparkly, they aren’t too tight and don’t hurt when you wear them.

~Simple Pleasures Polish Duo ($1.99) & NPW Nail Art Sequin Wheel ($3.89): So cute!  This would make an adorable stocking stuffer for just about any little girl.  I love all of the different bling options included in the wheel and the polish colors themselves are fun too!

~Snowflake Bubble Bracelet ($9.99): I out this in myself the minute I opened the box.  LOL!  It’s stretchy so it will fit any size wrist.  It’s also completely adorable.

~Frozen Smencil ($1.60): Smencils!  The student council at L’s school just sold smencils and, if course, we had to get some.  They are just what you think – smelly pencils.  This Frozen one is plum scented.

~popbar Hot Chocolate on a Stick ($2.99): popbars have “popped” up a few times in subscription boxes and I love seeing them.  You put them in a glass of warm milk and they melt and turn into delicious hot chocolate.  I love them!

~Snowman Fluffs: These are “just” marshmallows, but I thought the package was too cute not to share.

All totaled I came up with a value of $46.45 for the December 2015 The Boodle Box.  I just love The Boodle Box and think it would make some a fabulous gift for a little girl on your holiday shopping list.
