What is the trick to using the codes? I tried every single one of the codes provided for 20% off and none of them work. Every one I try to put through on this kit on the birchbox website says “promo code is not valid”. I’ve ordered from birchbox before; is this why? Are these codes only working on new shoppers whose names aren’t yet recorded in the birchbox website? I’m not a “member”, as I’ve never ordered a subscription box through them, but I have ordered products on their site before.

Some you can only use once. Some only work for certain people. Some only work on $35+ I think? It’s weird because sometimes I can get them to work and sometimes I can’t!
