This box was so bright and fun!  Fortune Cookie Soap always puts together such a great theme, regardless of the season.

The Information Card

The Spring 2016 Fortune Cookie Soap theme was “Let It Grow” and included the following items:

~Guardian of the Forest – Fortune Cookie Soap: Guardian of the Forest is a blend of florals with a hint of lemon.  Every Fortune Cookie Soap box includes their traditional fortune cookie soap and I love them.  They all have a fortune inside (I suspect they are the same for everyone each season but I don’t know) and make for such a great decorative guest bath soap.

~This Thing? – OCD Hand Sanitizer (1oz / 30mL): This Thing? has a lot going on.  I picked up orange and vanilla scents, but the information card says it has notes of florals and lemon as well.  Maybe I smelled lemon?  I try not to use a ton of hand sanitizer, but this stuff is really good.  It doesn’t make your hands feel dry or gross after and it smells awesome.

~Disco Tree – Whipped Cream (2oz? – Size not listed): I love Fortune Cookie Soap’s whipped cream.  It’s so light, but also rich and super moisturizing.  Disco Tree is a blend of fresh picked berries, lily of the valley and sandalwood.  It smells almost good enough to eat.  Almost.

~Unless – Pedi Bomb: I have never heard of a pedi bomb before.  You toss this in a foot bath and let it dissolve and give your feet a moisturizing soak.  I don’t have a foot bath, but I suspect the bathtub (filled just enough to cover your feet) or sink would work. This is a blend of  hyacinths, lilies, oakmoss, and earthy woods, so it smells great too.

~Oh Hair – Shampoo Bar: I am so glad this is in here.  I used to love shampoo bars, but I haven’t used one in ages.  This made me remember just how much I loved them.  It has a fresh peach nectar and shaved grapefruit scent with a hint of thyme mixed in.  If you have never used a shampoo bar before, it’s different than washing with liquid shampoo.  You run the bar through your hair in sections from top to bottom.  It takes a little longer, but it’s worth it.

~One C – Cuticle Oil (No Size Listed): I love cuticle oil, but hate when it leaves stains or marks on papers.  Luckily I didn’t have that issue with this one.  It worked awesome on my dry cuticles, but I would have preferred a lighter scent.  The patchouli wasn’t as strong as it could have been (it was subdued with vanilla notes), but it was still a little too much for me.

~Paradise Found – Petal Perfume (No Size Listed): Wow, I expected this to be over the top floral, but it so was not!  It was a nice mixture of freesia, rose petals, mangos and strawberries “darkened” by tonka bean and amber.  It’s not too light, not too strong and the bottle is absolutely gorgeous!

~In-Organic – Shower Steamer: Shower steamers (aka shower bombs) are the best!  It’s like your shower has been transformed into a spa.  You toss them on the floor and just let the scent take over.  This is a mix of lemons and parsley which sounds odd, but isn’t.

Since not all of the products included sizes I wasn’t able to do a cost breakdown on this box.  I always think it’s worth the cost though and just love the curation and creativity in Fortune Cookie Soap boxes!
