PetGiftBox January 2016 Subscription Box

PetGiftBox is a monthly subscription box for your four legged friends – dogs or cats. Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and other great products that have been hand picked for your pet based on their size and weight.

The Box

PetGiftBox ships via USPS. Boxes ship the first week of each month and arrival is expected no later then the 15th.

I say it every month, but PetGiftBox does the best themes!  I could tell as soon as I opened the box what the theme this month was.

The Information Card

The January 2016 PetGiftBox theme was “Tail-Gate Party” and included the following items:

~Vintage Flat Football ($5.25): I thought mine was broken at first, but then I realized it was supposed to be like that! It’s a flat vintage style football with a squeaker (not annoying) inside.

~Brew Buddies Malted Barley Dog Treat ($4.99): These treats are actually shaped like beer bottles.  LOL!  They are made in the US with malted barley.  They are soft which I wasn’t expecting and the dogs loved them.

~Grill-icious All-Natural Beef Treats ($2.97): These treats are also made in the USA and are 100% natural.  I wasn’t expecting it, but Baxter went wild for this yesterday.  He ran off with his like he’d never gotten a treat before.

~Remarkabowl ($8.99): OMG this is a trip!  They make these for pets and people and they come in footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, etc. I may end up using this as a snack bowl for the kids.  Baxter tested it out briefly, but a trip through the dishwasher will make it like new again.

Remarkabowl

~Bowser Beer (~$4): Bowser Beer cracks me up.  It’s a “beefy brown ale” for dogs.  We have gotten this before (in a different pet box) and I recall that it took the dogs a while to warm up to it, but they enjoyed it once they did.  I seem to remember that it was messy though, so this may have to wait till it warms up outside.

All totaled I came up with a value of $26.20 for the January 2016 PetGiftBox.  That is slightly under the cost of the box, but I used internet / sale prices and not suggested retail prices. I think PetGiftBox does the best job with their monthly themes and am always so impressed by their creativity!
