Little Lace Box is a subscription service that delivers hand-curated, nearly impossible-to-find designer products directly to your doorstep every other month. Boxes will be brimming with high-end, brand name beauty, lifestyle, and home product samples to treat yourself to and dazzle your friends during your next night out. They now also offer Serendipity by Little Lace Box. It’s $9.99/bi-monthly and is a separate subscription from LLB. Serendipity will be sent out every other month (on the off months of the Little Lace Box) and includes five to seven sample size (sometimes full-size) items that don’t have any theme attached at all, just great little finds that LLB wanted to share. This review is on the January 2016 Serendipity by Little Lace Box shipment.
Serendipity by Little Lace Box ships via USPS First Class Mail and takes just a few days to arrive.
You never really know Serendipity by Little Lace Box will include and they ship in all different sized boxes as a result.
The January 2016 Serendipity by Little Lace Box included the following items:
~My Cup of Cake Pouch – Classic Belgian Chocolate ($5.99): We actually received this in the December 2015 POPSUGAR Box and I am so excited to get another chance at it. My first one turned out odd. I may have cooked it too long? Anyway, you make this in a mug. You dump in the mix, add water and in like 3 minutes you have yourself a cake!
~13oz Enamelware Ceramic Little Lace Box Coffee Mug ($14.95): Little Lace Box said that when they decided to put My Cup of Cake in this box, they knew they had to put a mug in there too. And I am so glad they did. Not just because you need a mug to make the cake, but because I LOVE mugs. This is designed to look like one of the old enamelware mugs you see on Downton Abbey, but this is dishwasher and microwave safe.
~Doxen & Hue Hand Wash (French Cade Lavender)(16.9oz) ($10): LLB sent out this soap in Hazelnut Dulce de Leche, Blood Orange & Fig, French Cade Lavender and Blond Woods & Cashmere. I don’t really know how you could go wrong with any of them? I received French Cade Lavender, which is absolutely incredible. It has notes of lavender, French cade wood and a hint of verbena. I can totally pick up the verbena in it and I think it smells amazing!
~Ellison Organics Mani Defender ($6.75): Umm, what is this magic? I looked at the bottle and thought it was an aqua nail polish. Not even. It’s liquid latex and you apply it to the skin around your nails. And then you polish your nails, do your nail art or whatever you want to do on your nails. You don’t have to worry about making a mess because the excess polish will peel right off with the liquid latex. This is HUGE. I always make a mess doing my nails and this is going to solve everything! So fabulous.
~Hilda Glasgow Single Notecard ($5.95): I looked at this card half dozen times and am still not sure what she’s holding, My first thought was that she was drinking out of a brown paper bag, but that can’t be it can it? It’s probably just her purse right? LOL. Anyway, LLB sent out an assortment of cards (Cyd, Suze, Susanna, Sandy, Rita, Marilyn and Jeanne), all of which were originally drawn by Hilda Glasgow who was one of the top fashion illustrators in the industry from the 1940’s to 1960’s. I love the card and all of the designs and may end up framing mine instead of mailing it.
All totaled I came up with a value of $44.60 for the January 2016 Serendipity by Little Lace Box. That is an amazing value for $9.99 and I love the assortment they selected this month. It was perfect for me and I will use every single thing in here. I think this *might* be my favorite $10 and under subscription!
