Beauty Box 5 February 2016 Subscription Box Review Beauty Box 5 delivers a sample box of all things beauty. Each box contains 4 – 5 samples of a variety of makeup, skin care, fragrances and everything in between!  Boxes are $12/month if you do a month-to-month subscription, however, the price drops if you subscribe for an extended period of time.
Beauty Box 5 ships via DHL and I typically receive my box between the 10th and 15th of the month.

The February 2016 Beauty Box 5 theme was “Birthday Sweets” (February marks Beauty Box 5’s 4th birthday) and included the following items:

~Manna Kadar Beauty 3-in-1 Shadow, Highlight & Blush in Fantasy (Full-Size $19): This can be used as a powder blush, highlighter and / or eyeshadow.  The powder is “pearlized” so it gives off a fabulous shimmery texture.  I found Fantasy (a nude blush pink) to be very flattering and I personally liked it best as an eye shadow.

~Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Shadow Primer (Sample Size ~$5): This primer is lightweight and is designed to lock in your shadow and prevent creasing.  It did the job and didn’t even feel like I had it on which I suspect is the point ;).

~StarLooks Custom Lip Liner in Sultry Sangria (Full-Size: $16): Sultry Sangria was designed specifically to celebrate Beauty Box 5’s birthday. I’m not a huge fan of the color, it’s a little too coral for me, but it glided on smoothly and seemed to last quite a while.

~Epic Blend Lip Balm (Hemp Blueberry) (Full-Size ~$3) This lip gluten is gluten-free, non-GMO and smells amazing. I found it to be super moisturizing too.  I want to meantion that it contains organic beeswax just in case that is something you avoid or are sensitive to.

~Hemp Nation Kiwi-Mango Body Wash (2oz) ($4): I knew this looked familiar!  Turns out it arrived in last month’s BuddhiBox! It smells amazing and I am thrilled to get more.  It’s made with 100% pure hemp seed oil and is paraben-free, gluten-free and THC drug-free.

All totaled I came up with a value of $47 for the February 2016 Beauty Box 5.  This was an awesome month for them and was a great way to celebrate their birthday!
