EggDrop February 2016 Subscription Box Review

EggDrop is a new subscription box for kids who love Shopkins™, Kinder™ eggs, blind bags, blind boxes or any other type of surprise toy. Each box will contain six mystery bags / eggs filled with surprise toys.
EggDrop ships via USPS and takes just a few days to arrive.

The February 2016 EggDrop included the following items:

~Squinkies and Glitter Bands Double Pack ($7.99): I am going to give these to a friend’s daughter, so I didn’t want to open them up.  Inside are 16 glitter bands (plenty to share with your friends or have your own major arm party) and 3 Squinkies.  Squinkies are little squishy things.  They have almost a water type texture?

~Disney Frozen Pocket Pop! ($4.95): Now that I see Olaf, I realize that I realize that I don’t know when the last time I watched Frozen was!  It’s clearly been too long.  Hopefully the boys will be down to watch it this weekend.  Maybe I will hide this little Olaf in the popcorn bowl.  They will get a kick out of that.

~Shopkins Micro-Lite Mystery Pack ($6.09): These have a light in them which turns out when you squeeze them.  I tried to get a picture of it lit up, but I couldn’t get it to all coordinate at the same time.  But trust me when I tell you it is cool.  My 3-year-old loves it.

~Minions Slap Bracelet (~$1): Can anyone look at a slap bracelet and not want to slap it on their wrist? I feel like you kind of have to.  Both of my kiddos love the Minions, and my little one likes to talk like them too. I laugh which I am sure encourages it, but it is so funny.

~Justice League Chibis 3pk (~$4): L has a super-hero themed room, and this will be perfect!  He has all his heroes displayed on his desk and these are up there now too.  I love that he received Super Girl because it’s important to learn that not all superheroes are boys ;).

~Big Hero 6 Hero Pack Dog Tag (~$4): The final item was a Big Hero Six dog tag.  The pack also included a sticker which I somehow ripped while opening the package.  Both of my boys loved this movie!
All totaled I came up with a value of $28.03 for the February 2016 EggDrop box.  I had to estimate a few of the items, but I think it’s pretty close.  It’s not a super high-value box in general, but they do a good job of making sure the value of the box is more than the cost, and they include a wide variety of items.
