Two questions today…
1. What are you doing for The Super Bowl? Who do you want to win? I would like to see the Bronco’s win if Peyton Manning is going to retire, but I like Cam Newton (and I did like his pants) too, so I don’t care either way. To be real, I would just like to win my squares ;). As for our plans for the game, I don’t know. B has National Guard this weekend so I am not sure what time he will be home Sunday. We’ll have a mini little party here with the kids and make some fun themed snacks!
2. Could you give up tv for a month? What about the internet? I could probably give up tv for that long, but internet? Yeah, I don’t know about that. I don’t even like it when I drive through a few spots on the way to up-north that don’t have internet access! It’s not that I need to use it for that half hour, I just want to know that I *could* use it! What about you, could you give them up?
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on these!
I am so glad you asked about the Superbowl!!!!!!!!!! I am a HUGE Cam Newton fan. I went to Auburn when he won the national championship for us, and I have converted over to a Panthers fan from a Falcons fan because of him. The whole team is SO fun to watch! I love them! There is no other QB out there like Cam. He is Super Cam in my eyes! I do not see him going to the Superbowl and losing. I think he’s going to kill it!
I am not sure I could give up the tv x a month :S I am super tv fan and I have programs scheduled for each day of the week, well not saturday, that is the day for movies 😀 The DVR could help but I am not sure the space will be enough hehehehe. Maybeeee I could try on summer when most of the shows are on vacations, but what happen with summer shows 🙁 This post just made realize I have a TV addiction :O
Internet is part of my job so I think I cannot give it up (fiuuu)
Sadly living in the Bay and a drive away from the stadium were the Supet Bowl will be held, I have no plans?. Prayerfully some plans will materialize by then!
I could give up tv for a month, I don’t have cable and I receive zero reception for basic channels so tv would be easy but the internet WOW that would be hard:o
*Super, opps
1. My husband will be out of town, so I’ll probably watch it alone. I don’t really care one way or another this year since I’m not a fan of either team. I’ll watch, but I won’t get into it.
2. I don’t know about either… maybe TV if I could play the radio all the time. I don’t like a silent house unless I’m sleeping!
1 – Sleeping…
2 – Maybe TV but not sure about the internet since I work from home. Now if I could have that month off, heck yeah!
Other topic…has anyone received their January Kloverbox? I don’t want to give anything away, but not sure what’s up with them lately. They have been so hit or miss and this month was no good…
I don’t sports, but my husband might take the kids to a Super Bowl party if anybody we know has one.
We did a screen-free month last November, and it was surprisingly nice. I still checked my email twice a day for financial reasons and to keep up with PTA stuff. We just really needed the screen detox. We might to it again next month.
I don’t watch TV or movies. I never have. It just never interested me. BUT our TV is on just about all waking hours thanks to my DH’s addiction to sports! It’s just background noise to me. When he’s not here the TV is OFF! Now internet? NO WAY!! That would be really hard. I’m sure if forced (or offered a large sum of money) I could do it but I can’t see myself giving it up on my own!
