BOXYCHARM March 2016 Subscription Box Review - "Sweet Treats"
BOXYCHARM is a beauty box subscription that surprises you each month with the best beauty products from popular and chic brands. It’s $21/month and includes full size and luxury size beauty samples from their team’s preferred well-known brands.

BOXYCHARM ships via FedEx Smart Post (starts out with FedEx and is delivered by USPS) mid-month.

The March 2016 BOXYCHARM theme was “Sweet Treats”.  Unlike other month’s the information card with product details is only available online and was not included in the box.  Except the information is not online yet either.  Regardless, the box included the following items:

~Clark’s Botanicals Anti-Puff Eye Cream (15mL) ($87): This cream is designed to target stubborn puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines with a concentration of active botanicals and vitamins.  It’s perfect for me because puffy issues and dark circles are things I am always battling (I am working on drinking more water and getting more sleep too). It felt soothing on my skin and am did seem to take down some of the puffiness.  I will know in a few weeks if it helps with dark circles as well.

~Catherine Malandrino Style de Paris ($20): This is described as a “sophisticated oriental fragrance” with hints of fruit.  I picked up more of the spiceness of this one and less of the fruitiness. Still it’s a nice scent and I will happily use it.

~Make Up Geek Cosmetics Eyeshadow Pan ($12):  According to the spoilers subscribers were supposed to get one Matte shade and one Duochrome Shade.  I received two Matte shades.  It wasn’t a big deal for me personally (plus I really liked the shades I received), so I didn’t contact BOXYCHARM. My shadows were Shimma and Cocoa Bear, which are both gorgeous neutrals.  The lasting power was great and I love that we got to test out some new brands.

~Luxie Rose Gold Small Contour Brush 512 ($16): This brush is vegan and cruelty-free and the synthetic bristles are coated with antibacterial solution to keep it fresh and clean.   We actually received a Luxie brush in GLOSSYBOX this month and I am super impressed with the line.  It’s SO soft and I didn’t have an issues with bristles coming loose (which drives me crazy).

~Chella Universal Eyebrow Pencil ($18): I try not to overpluck, but I will admit it happens. I won’t use this a ton, but it’ll be there for me when I need it.

All totaled my March 2016 BOXYCHARM had a value of $153. That is an incredible value for a $21/box.  Just incredible.  Just a warning though, there were variations this month so not everyone’s value was this high.
