GlobeIn Benefit Basket ($19.95/month) is a monthly subscription box featuring one handcrafted good from a remarkable, remote artisan to give them global reach. Each box is curated around a monthly theme selected by their editor with the aim of helping you experience new and interesting products and cultures. The GlobeIn Benefit Basket is a mini version of the popular GlobeIn Artisan Box ($40/month).
GlobeIn ships via USPS. Boxes ship on the 15th of the month (I received mine early for review purposes). Orders placed after the 15th of the calendar month will ship on the 15th of the following calendar month. If boxes sell out before the 15th your subscription will begin the following month.

~Mr. Ellie Pooh Elephant Journal Small Safari Travel Journal Dark Blue (Lined) ($11.99): This journal is filled with “poo paper”. No, really. It’s 30% fiber from elephant dung and 70% post consumer paper. Journals are handmade and organic and they do not use any toxic chemicals in their paper making process. Instead, they use natural vegetative binding agents, along with water-soluble salt dyes for coloring.
~GlobeIn Signature Palm Leaf Basket from Oaxaca, Mexico ($12): Every GlobeIn Benefit Basket includes the signature palm leaf basket. Colors (and styles) do vary, but this is the “basket” portion of the box. They can be used for anything from storing toiletries in your bathroom to using as a gift box.

This is my 3rd month, and my 2nd identical green basket. Here’s hoping I don’t run into what others have complained about (nothing but the same basket over and over again), but I do love these baskets. I also really like the journal/notebook. I’m not sure this month had the value of the last 2, though. The towel and the bowl knocked it out of the park.
Cute, your notebook and basket were both blue. Mine were both green. Maybe they planned that 🙂
