GLOSSYBOX March 2016 Subscription Box Review
GLOSSYBOX kindly sent me their March 2016 box to review early, and I am so excited to share it! GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door.   I have been a subscriber for years (in addition to getting review boxes I also pay for a subscription) and am always in awe of the value they pack into their boxes.
GLOSSYBOX March 2016 Subscription Box Review
GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally boxes ship in the second half of the month (as I mentioned I received this one early for review purposes).  Sometimes it’s the last week of the month; sometimes it’s closer to the beginning of the month.

GLOSSYBOX has some of the best packaging out there!  I reuse their boxes to make gift boxes with my extra subscription products for my friends.  They are sturdy and perfect!

GLOSSYBOX March 2016 Subscription Box ReviewThe March 2016 GLOSSYBOX included the following items:

~Vine Vera Resveratrol Merlot Moisture Day Cream (~0.5oz?) (~$39.89): There are no sizes listed on these so I estimated each one to have 0.25fl.oz.  I can’t see that being too far off.  This cream has anti-aging properties and serves as a barrier between your skin and outdoor damage. This is rich and creamy and and has almost a floral scent to it.  I found that a little bit of this went a long way (which is good considering the full size is $146 for 1.83oz).

~Luxie Beauty Rose Gold Large Angled Face Brush ($16): This angled brush is designed to fit the natural contours of your face.  It’s super soft and is made in the USA from antibacterial synthetic bristles.  It’s also 100% Cruelty-free, 100% Vegan and 100% Paraben-free.

~I Love…Cosmetics Super Soft Hand Lotion (75mL / 2.5fl.oz) ($6): Incredible.  This smells incredible.   I received the “mango & pineapple” scent, but “coconut & cream” is shown on the information card, so it appears a variety of scents are being sent out.  I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. It smells like vacation and I love it.

~Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick (Chihuahua) (5mL/0.16fl.oz) ($8.40): All subscribers will be receiving the Chihuahua shade which is “dusty mauve”. I didn’t expect to like the color, but I actually love it.  If you have never tried Too Faced before, let me first the first to warn you not to squeeze the tube too hard.  The lipstick will come out crazy fast if you do.

~Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner ($11.43): I am never overly excited by eyeliner, but this was fun to play around with. It was really easy to use and, according to the information card, the carbon black formula promotes longer, fuller lashes.

All totaled the March 2016 GLOSSYBOX had a value of $81.72.  That’s nearly 4x the cost of the box and I thought this was a great month for GLOSSYBOX!

What do you think of this month’s GLOSSYBOX so far?  Just a reminder, GLOSSYBOX has been sending out variations in boxes the last few months so don’t be surprised if your box is a little different than this one.

Spread the love

This looks like a great box! I’m always in need of face cream and hand lotion. The brush will get used and I’m forever needing more lipstick shades and eyeliners to try. I hate waiting for my box, thanks for the spoilers.

Vine Vera has several names – it’s overpriced mall kiosk stuff – the guys that harass you. The ingredients are toxic – propylene glycol is ingredient #3 (way too high up the list to be considered minimal). This product you will not find in good stores for good reason – Oy.
It has no real value – they change the name every few months & try to pawn it off on Amazon & the victims post lousy reviews – even with their decoys they can’t get above 3 stars except on their own website. What a pity – this box has much lower value than norm

Vine Vera sucks. Got harassed by the guy at the mall kiosk. Even after raising a scene and him giving me the giftbox for free. He tailed me in the mall everytime i came. Eventually i went to mall security and the kiosk magically disappeared two days later. The products werent even worth the packaging, gross greasy product that gave me body acne. Dont use this crap and protest anyone peddling this junk. I cancelled my subscription after GB couldnt guarantee that i WOULD NOT recueve thesr products. Dime store crap. Not even worth the dollar store.
