Love With Food March 2016 Tasting Box Review + 40% Off First Box Offer
Love With Food sends members a curated box filled unique gourmet food items. The “Tasting Box” is $9.99/month and offers with 8+ snacks and the “Deluxe” box is $19.95/month and includes 16-20 snacks. Love With Food also offers a Gluten-Free box for $24.99/month which includes 8-12 surprise gluten-free snacks each month. Each box brings new delights, with bites that vary based on seasonal themes. In addition, Love With Food donates a meal (some months they actually donate two meals) to a child in need with each box purchased, which you can read more about here.  This review is on the March Tasting Box.

Love With Food ships via USPS. Boxes typically ship on the 10th of the month and arrive a week or so after.

The March 2016 Love With Food theme was “Love Is Real” and included the following snacks to share with someone you love to show them how special they are:

~Fruit Snacks by Horizon Organic: This is a new product from Horizon Organic and I haven’t even found it at the stores yet.  They are certified organic and free of artificial colors and preservatives. My 7 year-old loves fruit snacks and these are a great alternative to many of them out there.  I will certainly be buying these when I see them at Kroger.

~Rosemary and Sea Salt Pork Clouds by Bacon’s Heir: B is a huge fan of Pork Clouds, but I am not into them.  They are dairy-free, all natural and only minimally processed.  I will be sending these to work for him to snack on.

~Lemon Wafer Bites by Dolcetto: LOVE THESE!  I can’t remember what box they first appeared in, but I have loved them since.  I am always a fan of lemon cookies and wafers so these are perfect.

~Original Naan Crisps by Stonefire Flatbreads: I think I would have preferred these in a flavor other than original.  They just weren’t satisfying enough for me.  They contain no artificial preservatives and have 0 grams of trans fat.  Perhaps I should have tried them with some cheese?  That may have made them a bit more enjoyable.

~Almond Roca Buttercrunch Toffee with Almonds by Brown & Haley: The information card is right, this is very “almond-y”.  It was okay, but not my favorite.  Maybe a bit like a butterfingers with almonds, but richer.

~Strawberry Fig Bar by Nature’s Bakery: We haven’t gotten a Nature’s Bakery Fig Bar in a box in ages.  I think I had forgotten how much I loved these.  They are amazing.  In addition to being delicious, they are cholesterol-free, dairy-free, kosher and non-GMO.

~Olympos Pitted Green Olives: These are another B item for sure.  I am not a fan of olives at all.  I do appreciate them mixing up their snacks a little with something like this.

~Peppermint Salt Water Taffy by Salty Road: Salty Road makes delicious taffy.  They are chewy and super flavorful.

I never do a cost breakdown on Love With Food, but I always enjoy their boxes and think they are worth $9.99.  I have subscribed to them for ages and will probably stay a subscriber as long as they are around.
