White Willow Box March 2016 Subscription Box Review
White Willow is a monthly Canadian based lifestyle subscription box. Each box will contain four to five sample / full-sized products ranging from: beauty and personal care products, fashion accessories, home decor accents, culinary delights, technology gadgets and other lifestyle surprises.  The box is $43.50 CAD shipped within Canada or $54.50 CAD shipped to the States.  With the current exchange rate it works out to $42 USD (shipped to the US).

White Willow ships from Canada and took nearly two weeks to arrive.  It ships directly from Canada and must clear customs, so it takes some time.

The first thing I noticed when I was unboxing this was that it smelled really good.  Too good really.  Sure enough I discovered opened chocolate bunnies all over the box.  I have no idea how they came unwrapped in transit.  It looks like they got ripped open, but my box arrived perfectly sealed so who knows?  I was able to get everything wiped clean, so no harm done.

The March 2016 White Willow Box contained the following items:

~Mudlark Mememto Boxed Noted ($15): This set includes 20 Notes and Envelopes.  There are four different patterns in all so you get five of each design.  They are blank on the inside and are quite gorgeous.  I think they’d work well as Thank You cards or just to use to send a friend a quick note.  They are printed on 100% Recycled Paper and the box they come in is sturdy (and pretty) enough to save as a keepsake box.

~LOLLIA ‘Breathe’ by Margot Elena Shower Gel ($22): We received LOLLIA Shower Gel in a POPSUGAR Box a year or so ago and I absolutely loved it.  I was thrilled to see it in here!  “Breathe”, the scent we received, has notes of Peony & White Lily.  It’s a soft scent and I think it’s beautiful.

~Organic Infused Basil Oil by La Tourangelle Artisan Oils (250mL) ($6.99): This basil oil is perfect for pesto, tomato mozzarella salad, grilled chicken or fish.  I am planning on using it as a dipping oil for bread.  I need to go to the grocery store today anyway, so I will pick up a loaf of bread and add this to dinner.

~Oil Serving Dish (~$4): This little dish is used to serve your oil on.  It’s ceramic with a grape imprint and I love that the holes are indented so you can better scoop the oil.

~Lindo Konjac Sponge (~$11.55): The box also included a Konjac Sponge.  We seem to get them on a fairly regular basis from subscription boxes, but that’s okay with me because they do get icky after a while.  I don’t like to use it on my face daily (every other day works for me), but it definitely makes my skin look and feel brighter after I use it.

All totaled I came up with a value of $59.54 (USD) for the March 2016 White Willow box.  The value isn’t huge (like POPSUGAR for example), but it’s well curated and I liked all of the items in this month’s box.
