BeautyFIX April 2016 Subscription Box Review
BeautyFIX
by DermStore is a monthly subscription box that features over $100 worth of beauty products, hand-selected by an elite team of beauty pros.

BeautyFIX ships via USPS at the beginning of each month.

I actually expected this box to be fuller for some reason?  I knew what was coming in it, but I thought it would look more substantial.

The April 2016 BeautyFIX contained the following:

~Klorane Dry Shampoo With Oat Milk – Natural Tint (1oz) ($10): I absolutely think dry shampoo is one of the best beauty innovations ever.  I have always loved Klorane, but this is my first time trying the tinted spray (that I can remember anyway).  I think I may like it more than the regular actually. It doesn’t leave any residue and smells great.  You can use it as a texture spray too.

~AHAVA Dead Sea Crystal Osmoter™ X6 Facial Serum (5mL) ($12.33): This works best for mature skin and helps with fine lines, wrinkles and loss of firmness.  I need help with the majority of those issues, but I have gotten so many serums lately that I haven’t gotten a chance to test this on my face yet.  I did test it on my hands though and it has a light floral scent and dried into my skin quickly.

~CoTZ Face Natural Skin Tone SPF 40 (0.35oz / 10g) ($6.67): This is a tinted sunscreen that can be worn alone or under makeup.  I like it alone and think it’s great for the beach or whenever you want some coverage on your skin, but not a face full of makeup.

~Juice Beauty GREEN APPLE Age Defy Moisturizer (2oz / 60mL – Full Size) ($45): I love when we get full-size products in boxes!  This moisturizer is designed to banish signs of aging, from hyperpigmentation to uneven skin tone.  We have been getting a lot of serums lately, but not a ton of moisturizers so this is much needed.

~patchology FlashPatch™ Eye Gels (1 pair) ($1.67): These made my eyes feel great!  They looked less puffy, but other than that I didn’t see a huge difference.  The feeling alone made it worth it though.

~SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 (Sample – Not for Resale): Since this is labeled “Sample Only Not For Resale” I didn’t assign a value to it.  This is another item that’s designed for mature skin. With regular use you are supposed to be able to see improvements in elasticity, moisture levels and radiance.  I am going to put this in the rotation after I use up a few more samples.

~Perfect Formula Pink Gel Coat (.17 fl.oz/ 5mL) ($8.50): This is designed to act as a strengthener and base coat in one. I haven’t been taking great care of my nails lately and it’s showing. They are starting to split and crack which I hate.  I just repolished my nails and used this as a base coat. I am hoping that it helps to make them stronger and more even.
~Bliss Fabulous Drench ‘n’ Quench Cream-to-Water Lock-in Moisturizer (5mL / 0.17fl.oz) ($3.80): The only thing I don’t like is that this sample isn’t larger.  I have been using it on my neck and it’s softer than ever.

~SmartFX Volume Extend Mascara in Black (0.25fl.oz. / 7.5mL – Full Size) ($20): I passed this on to a friend to try and she loved it. She said it gave her great volume and nice length without any flaking.

All totaled the April 2016 BeautyFIX had a value of $107.97.  I was super impressed with my first BeautyFIX and can’t help but wonder what took me so long to sign up.
