Benevolent Beauty Box April 2016 Subscription Box Review

Benevolent Beauty Box is a monthly subscription box featuring only 100% cruelty free beauty products. Each box will include 4-7 full size beauty products. The products will be mainly focused on cosmetics with a touch of skin care, hair care or tools.

Benevolent Beauty Box ships via USPS at the end of the month.

Benevolent Beauty Box is a new box so I was anxious to see what this box would include.  I was impressed by the size of the products in the first look!

The May 2016 Benevolent Beauty Box included the following items:

~bodisafe Lip & Cheek Rustic Rose (15ml) ($20): This has an inner seal which I had the hardest time getting off and is why mine looks like a bit of a mess.  It’s super creamy and is formulated with all-natural, organic ingredients Shea Butter.  It’s certified Vegan, Gluten Free, Paraben Free, Cruelty Free, Talc Free, Mineral Oil Free, Formaldehyde Free, Petroleum Free, Harmful Emulsifier Free and Phthalates Free.  It’s so rich that you don’t need a lot to get a bold lip or gorgeous cheek color either.

~Color Revolution (Wildflowers) ($12): I may not love this blue color for myself, but I do love the formula of this shadow!  It’s highly pigmented and has a perfect amount of shimmer to it. It also contains no parabens, preservatives, or chemical dyes.

~Dermadeli Invigorating Vitamin C Serum (1fl.oz) ($28.99): This serum works as an antioxidant in protecting skin from UV damage and visually improving wrinkles.  It’s made to order, so it’s fresher than a lot of the other serums and it actually needs to be kept in the refrigerator.

~Manna Kadar 3-in-1 Blush Highlighter Eyeshadow (Fantasy) ($19): This is a pearlized powder blush, highlighter and eyeshadow all in one.  Mine got broken in transit, but it still works. It’s just not as pretty.  Fantasy is a shimmery Nude Blush Pink and seems like it’s a universally flattering shade.

~Red Apple Lipstick (Plum Sexy Crazy) ($23.50): According to the description, Plum Sexy Crazy is slightly shimmery, multi-dimensional rich red/plum color that takes on a gold glimmer when applied. It’s vegan, gluten-free, allergen-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free and contains no GMO’s.  The formula was fabulous and I didn’t think it dried my lips out at all.

~bodiSafe Night Cream Sample (Sample): This wasn’t listed on the information card, but the box also included a small sample of night cream.

~Swatches

All totaled I came up with a value of $103.49 for the April 2016 Benevolent Beauty Box.  I was super impressed with their first box and hope they can keep this up!
