blissmo Beauty March 2016 Subscription Box Review

blissmo delivers a monthly box full of exceptional organic, non-toxic & eco products from a mix of established and up-and-coming brands.  They offer both a Beauty Box and a Snack Box which are separate subscriptions.  This review is on the blissmo Beauty Box.

The March 2016 blissmo Beauty Box contained the following:

~Sense Body Lotion (1.5fl.oz / 45mL) ($4.93): This reminded me of a hotel lotion.  I don’t think that hotel lotion is bad or anything, but just the packaging felt hotel like to me.  I didn’t think the scent was overwhelming (it is described as a fresh, light and natural) and is made without parabens, sulfates, phthalates or synthetic fragrances.

~Gourmet Body Treats Mineral Foundation (Sample): Had I not checked the Gourmet Treats website I would have thought this was an eye shadow.  Good thing I looked! It feels lightweight when it’s on your skin, but it covers acne scars, large pores and uneven skin.  Plus, all Gourmet Body Treats products are vegan, cruelty free, paraben free, GMO free, natural and made with certified organic ingredients.

~Natural Organics Pomegranate Facial Scrub (Sample): This scrub is gentle enough to be used daily, but once a week is really enough if you want to stretch out the sample. It smells great and left my skin brighter and smoother.

~Basic-Naturals Lip Balm (Peppermint) ($3): I’m always happy to receive lip balms in subscription boxes so this is a win for me.  It’s 100% natural and handmade and did the job well.

I couldn’t do a full cost breakdown on the blissmo Beauty Box, but I was pleased that it introduced me to four all new brands!
