bookroo April 2016 Subscription Box Review
bookroo is a monthly subscription box for kids. The Box is intended to be an inexpensive way for parents to grow their child’s personal library of books. Boxes with picture books come with 2 books. Boxes with board books come with 3 books.

bookroo ships via USPS at the beginning of the month and you can expect to revive your box by mid-month. bookroo boxes are generally shipped out the first weekend following renewals (the 15th), and boxes arrive towards the end of the month. If you sign up for your first Bookroo box between the 15th of the month and the 5th of the following month, your box will be shipped out in our weekly batch. (Thank you Amber!)

I love that the gift wrap each of the books.

Our March April 2016 bookroo included the following:

~Oliver’s Tree by Kit Chase ($12.67): This is an adorable story about three friends (an elephant, a bunny and an owl) who want to play together, but realize that they can’t all do the same things (the elephant can’t climb trees) which makes them sad.  The other two friends figure out a way to make sure that elephant can play with them so no one is left out.  Very sweet and it’s got a great message.

~Shark in the Dark by Peter Bently ($17.99): This story focuses around a shark, who is really quite a bully.  So the sea animals decide to work together to come up with a plan to teach the shark a lesson.  It’s another great story about friends working together and I love the cut-out front.

All totaled I came up with a value of $30.66 for the April 2016 bookroo.  I thought our books were cute and I was impressed with the value as well.
