BOXYCHARM is a beauty box subscription that surprises you each month with the best beauty products from popular and chic brands. It’s $21/month and includes full size and luxury size beauty samples from their team’s preferred well-known brands.
BOXYCHARM ships via FedEx Smart Post (starts out with FedEx and is delivered by USPS) mid-month.
I had heard there were some variations this month and I was anxious to see what I received.
The April 2016 BOXYCHARM theme was “Cloudy With a Chance of Charms” and included the following:
~pur~lisse Daily Lip Nourisher (Full-Size) ($16): Love this! It’s super nourishing and unlike some lip products I am not constantly needing to reapply it.
~blinc Black Lash Primer (Full-Size) ($26): This *might* be the first lash primer we have received in a subscription box? The idea is to put it on before your mascara to get fuller, thicker lashes. It was fun to try and I did think it gave me extra long lashes, but I am not sure how I feel about the extra step every day. For special occasions I love it!
~Anderson Lilley Manhattan Beach Hand Cream (Full-Size) ($24): The packaging on this one seemed odd to me? Like the label was almost peeling off? The scent wasn’t at all what I was expecting (I thought it would smell beachy), but it actually has notes of bergamot, citrus, white jasmine, Brazilian soft woods, heliotrope and musk. The cream itself left my hands nice and soft though.
~yourMinerals Eye Shadow (Brown Hypnotic) (Full Size) ($21): Super pretty color and it has a nice shimmer to it which I always like.
~OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick (Pasadena) (8g / 0.27oz) ($19.90): According to the package this is 8g, which is 2g larger than the full-size on the OFRA website. The tube in BOXYCHARM looks smaller though so I am really not sure? The formula is great and it smells even better, but this mauve shade doesn’t work on me.

All totaled I came up with a value of $106.90 for the April 2016 BOXYCHARM. Believe it or not, that’s a “low” value for BOXYCHARM! Still I was super impressed with the value and loved that everything was full-sized.
