The April 2016 GLOSSYBOX included the following items:

~Caviar CC Cream 10-in-1 Complete Correction (0.85fl.oz / 25mL) ($10.20): This CC cream is for your hair, not your face!  It perfects hair in ten different ways – moisture, shine, smoothness, softness, anti-breakage, heat protection, light hold, UV protection, manageability, and strength. You can used it on towel dried hair or on dry hair for “added perfection”.  I found it to be very easy to use and found that it did leave my hair very shiny and smooth.

~Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner (1.38g) (~$31): I am not overly excited by this one just because I don’t really “do” my brows. Maybe some clear gel every now and then, but rarely would I ever break out a pencil.  This will be passed along to a friend.

~Biossance The Nourisher Precious Rose Face Oil (0.14oz / 4mL) ($9.60): This oil is designed to reduces and smooth the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and crow’s feet.  It’s got a nice light rose scent and absorbed quickly into my skin.  It’s too early to see any changes, but it made my skin feel great.

GLOSSYBOX April 2016 Subscription Box Review
~Unani Dermo Defense Face Mask (3.4fl.oz) ($18): This mask is my favorite item in the  box for sure!  You only need to use 1-2x/week and you just need to leave it on for 10 minutes.  Easy!  It left my skin glowing and I am going to add this into my routine.

~Leighton Denny Expert Nails in Pillow Talk (12mL) (~$15.62): This color is fantasic!  It’s a berry shade and I believe that all subscribers who receive this polish will receive the “Pillow Talk” shade. The consistency was awesome and this polish is 3-free (meaning it’s free from Formaldehyde, Toluene and DBP).

GLOSSYBOX April 2016 Subscription Box Review

All totaled my April 2016 GLOSSYBOX had a value of $84.42.  The value was outstanding at over 4x the cost of the box, but I just wasn’t wowwed by this one.

If you are interested in subscribing (your subscription would begin with the April box which would be similiar to, but may have some variations, the box above) use coupon code “TRIBETATS” to get a free set of Temporary Metallic Tattoos with your first box.

I received a different hair product, it was a “Not your mothers” sea salt spray in a travel size with retail value of $3.00. I feel they chintzed out on the swap because it’s a drugstore brand with a lower value. What’s up with that? I agree I wasn’t wowed by this box either, the best item for me was the nail polish. Maybe next month will be better. I don’t know if you got the Walmart beauty box this month, but I actually liked it better than Glossybox, which is not typical.

Will be interesting to see what I get hair wise as I always seem to get stuff for thick hair and my hair is anything but.

And I’m totally interested in the brown pencil. As one gets older, ones brows seem to disappear and I think I may need to start using something to help them LOL.

I received the not your mother’s beach spray instead of hair mask…pretty sure it just came in target box last month.

Womp womp ~ I got the stupid beach spray. Goodbye glossybox… hello sephora!
