LaRitzy April 2016 Subscription Box Review
LaRitzy is a cruelty-free beauty subscription box for women. Each month you will receive a mix of products, from hair care to body lotion to a trendy nail polish. Most of the items will be full-sized, however, you might find a few luxury-size samples here and there.

LaRitzy ships on a monthly basis via USPS. Orders placed between the 10th of the current month and the 10th of next month will be shipped out the following month. For example, if you sign up on the 11th of March, you will receive the March box, and it will be shipped April 10th.

The April 2016 LaRitzy theme was “Spring Fever” and included the following items:

~Toogga Organic Desert Date Oil (1fl.oz) ($16): This oil is designed to reduce wrinkles and regenerate healthy skin. It feels almost greasy to the touch, but it absorbs quickly and once on your skin it just leaves it soft and smooth.  It has a nutty scent to it, which makes since because desert date oil is extracted from the Toogga Nut. It’s Vegan and Cruelty Free and made in small batches to ensure the highest potency and quality.

~Eyeshadow Brush by Modern Minerals ($17): This is a super soft brush, but the bristles are strong so it’s firm at the same time.  All Modern Minerals brushes are synthetic, hand-made, hypoallergenic, vegan and animal fur-free.

~Vegocentric Organic Lipsticks by Lippy Girl  (Coral Me Maybe) ($17.94): I am guessing colors will vary, but I received “Coral Me Maybe” which is a very pretty, very wearable coral.  It’s a soft color and has a nice amount of shimmer to it as well.  Lippy Girl lipsticks are 100% vegan, bee-free, gluten free and chemical free.

~Solid Perfume by Glow for a Cause (Innocence) (.4oz / 11g) ($16): I received this in “Innocence” which is designed as “Paris in the spring. The delicate sweetness of berries and flowers with a twist of almond make this a unique and definitively scent.”  It’s a gorgeous Spring scent and I can pick up so much of the fruity berries in this.  The solid perfume has a similar consistency to a lip balm, but I am guessing it would firm up a tad more if I stored it in a cool place for a while (and not my warm mailbox).

~Pearlies by Leo & Goa ($5): Pearlies contain organic coconut oil and organic essential oil mix and are designed for oil pulling.  Oil pulling is a natural way to whiten your teeth.  I have tried it a few times (not with this specific product though) and I just can’t get used to the feeling (you leave the oil in your mouth for 5 – 15 minutes before spitting it out), but maybe I will give it another chance.

All totaled I came up with a value of $71.94 for the April 2016 LaRitzy.  That is almost 3x the cost of the box and I think this is one of my favorite boxes from them. It has a great mixture of products and I am thrilled!
