Olfactif April 2016 Subscription Box ReviewOlfactif is a monthly perfume subscription box. Each month subscribers receive some of the finest and hardest-to-find perfume samples from niche artists around the world. Samples are contained in 2.25mL glass vials and each vial has enough for 15 – 20 wearings. In addition, you will receive an $18 credit to put toward a full bottle of a featured scent, every month.

Olfactif ships via USPS around the 1st of the month.  If your first purchase is before the 15th of the month they will ship out your collection immediately.  Otherwise your first box will ship around the 1st of the following month.

The April 2016 Olfactif theme was “Spring Day” and included the following scents:

~White Pepper Mandarin by Note Fragrances (Full Size: $74 – 60mL): This has notes of white grapefruit, mandarin, rosemary, white pepper, clary sage, lemon verbena, white cedar wood and frankincense.  At first it’s more fruity and citrusy, but when it dries the deeper wood and pepper scents hit me.  I think this could be worn in any season and is just a nice overall scent.

~Sleeping with Ghosts by Mark Buxton (Full-Size: $195 – 100mL): Sleeping with Ghosts has notes of tagete, quince, peony, leather, vetiver and vanilla.  It’s described as a “creamy, floral leather”.  Before I looked at the price tag of this one I loved it.  After looking at the price for a full size bottle?  Not so much.  It really is pretty though and will be amazing for Spring.

~Cher Wood by Molinard (Full-Size: $185 for 90mL): Cher Wood has notes of fruit-floral accords, cedar, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, agarwood, amber, and vanilla.  My best description of this would be fancy.  It just smelled fancy to me.  Not my favorite scent in this month’s box.
