Powered Geek Box March 2016 Subscription Box Review
Powered Geek Box (formerly known as PowerUp Box) is a monthly subscription service that includes geeky, gamer, and pop culture gear. The Powered Geek Box team goes around the country searching for the best gear there is to assure an epic box every month, every time. The Premium Box ($39.90/month) includes 6-9 items while the Deluxe Box ($26.90/month) includes 4-6 items and both boxes will include a t-shirt every month. I receive The Premium Box to review.

Powered Geek Box boxes are shipped via USPS between the 22nd and 28th of each month. Powered Geek Box is in the process of revamping their logo/boxes, so some shipments may just arrive in a plain black box this month.

Powered Geek Box doesn’t curate around a theme, so you never know what you will receive. The March 2016 Powered Geek Box included the following items:

~Nintendo Super Mario Trucker Hat ($12.99): This hat is amazing!  B spied it in my stack of subscription box stuff as I was taking box pictures over the weekend and instantly put it on. And he doesn’t even wear hats.  It’s currently on display in my son’s room, who loves playing Mario Brothers.

~Harry Potter Azkaban Prison T-Shirt (~$10): I can’t locate this exact shirt online, so I estimated the price.  It’s a cool shirt and is making me want to rematch the Prisoner of Azkaban because I do not remember this image from the movie (which really isn’t saying much).

~POP! Vinyl Superman Solider ($7): This POP! is from the movie Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, Superman Soldier.  We haven’t gotten a chance to see it yet, but it’s a very cool figure and will be great in my son’s Superhero room.

~Funko DC Comics: ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ Mystery Minis Vinyl Figurine ($5.99): I am such a sucker for a blind box.  I actually think I like them more than my kids do.  We received a Batman figure which I couldn’t be happier with!

~Superman by Zak! Mug ($5.99): I don’t think I have met a coffee mug from a subscription box that I don’t like.  B laughs at my coffee mug collection, but really, it could be worse.  I like to eat ice-cream out of coffee mugs.  Does anyone else do this?  It slides around too much in the bowl (B also thinks this is crazy), but in a mug you don’t have those issues!

~Marvel The Punisher Keychain ($5.98): This Punisher keychain will be great on my 7 year-old’s backpack!

All totaled I came up with an estimated value of $47.95 for the March 2016 Powered Geek Box.   I love the mixture of products they include in their boxes and feel like they always have something in them that everyone in our house will enjoy!
