Two questions today…
- What book are you reading right now? I mentioned yesterday that I was reading The Nest. I am more hooked on it than any book I have read in a long time. I’m about halfway through and am so curious to find out what is going to happen to “the nest” and Leo and Jack and Bea and Melody! What book are you reading right now? Do any of you read more than one book at a time?
- What was the best movie you have seen recently? I feel like maybe we have already talked about this, but I really liked Creed (it also made me want to rewatch all of the original Rocky movies). Did someone say that they are doing a sequel? I may be making that up, but I hope it’s true. What about you? What movies have you loved lately?
I can’t wait to hear your answers!
I need to start reading again! The Nest sounds interesting I will have to check it out. I’ve recently seen The Intern, Daddy’s Home, and The Night Before. Loved The Intern! Daddy’s Home was okay. Laughed my behind off during The Nighe Before!!
I’m currently reading Purity by Jonathan Franzen and so far I’m loving it but I also love Jonathan Franzen and everything he writes. I recently saw Me, Earl and the Dying Girl – it was so good and I would highly recommend it. I also saw Dope and really liked it too. Haven’t seen Creed but am definitely looking forward to watching that one soon.
I’m currently reading the girl on the train for a book club I’m in. It took a while to get into it, but now I don’t like when I have to set it down. We got creed to watch tonight, and I’m excited! Last night we watched secrets in their eye with Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman and it was pretty good, surprising twist ending!!
I will check that one out!!
I just started The Bone Clocks, and am enjoying it so far. The Nest is on my to-be-read list. And I did like The Girl on the Train; so much better than Gone Girl.
The best movie lately was The End of the Tour. So good! I do not understand how this was not up for any Academy Awards.
I’m finally getting around to reading In the Unlikely Event by Judy Blume…the book PS sent out MONTHS ago. I was reading a book when I received it and kind of forgot. I wish I had a better excuse for putting it off this long, but I don’t. Because lazy.
My husband convinced me to watch Straight Outta Compton when it came out on DVD… despite all the cussing (I usually don’t let that fly in my house) it wasn’t that bad. With that being said, I love docudramas, so I’m not surprised that I liked it. But now I constantly have Cruisin’ Down the Street stuck in my head.
OMG I loved that book.
I just started reading The Martian (I always like to read the book before seeing the movie). We watched Batman vs. Superman this weekend and it was meh. I liked How to Be Single but other than that, haven’t been watching a whole lot of movies.
