No real thought either way on this first look.

The April 2016 Yogi Surprise included the following:

~Herbal ZAP! (~$3): Herbal ZAP! was developed by doctors and is supposed to help with digestive health. I wasn’t a huge fan of the taste, but if I had an upset stomach I would certainly try it!

~Stoneridge Orchards Montmorency Cherries ($1): These are all-natural and non-GMO.  And contain no artificial colors or flavors.  They are very tasty and make for a great snack.

~Suja Juice Coupon (Up to $4.85): I didn’t take a picture of the actual coupon, but the box included a coupon for a free bottle of Suja Juice.

~Rishi Hibiscus Berry Tea ($8.50): This tea is a “rejuvenating tropical herb tea with juicy currants + revitalizing rose hips”.  As usual I will be passing this on to a friend or one of my cousins because I am not huge into tea.

~Herban Essentials Orange Essential Oil Towelettes ($7): Now these I love.  They are basically like grown up baby wipes.  They smell amazing and can be used for just about anything.  To freshen up, as a disinfecting wipe for your hands or to clean off a table.

~Dosha Bar Apple Cran Awakening (~$3): This is a new snack for me and I thought it was great.  It’s 100% organic, vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free.
Yogi Surprise April 2016 Subscription Review + Coupon Code
~Four Sigmatic Reishi Mushroom Elixir (Sample): You are supposed to drink this about 2 hours before bed or if you are having a super stressful day to help you relax.  The Reishi mushroom is supposed to help you calm down and ensures better sleep by naturally regulating the hormonal system and lowering cortisol levels.  I haven’t been overly stressed out lately, but I could always use a better night’s sleep, so I will give this a try this week.

~Go Raw Choco Crunch Sprouted Cookies (~$1): It’s a stretch for me to call these a cookie.  They are much more of a seed cracker.  Not a bad snack, but not cookie like either.
Yogi Surprise April 2016 Subscription Review + Coupon Code
~The Seaweed Bath Co. Powder Bath ($3.89): This seaweed beth is certified non-GMO and contains eucalyptus & peppermint scents. With the weather getting warmer, B (my husband) will be running outside more and that will lead to more sore muscles and more baths!
Yogi Surprise April 2016 Subscription Review + Coupon Code
~Rescue Plus Lozenges ($8.50): I guess these are stress relief lozenges?  I didn’t see much a difference (although I wasn’t stressed to begin with), but they are packed with vitamins B2 and B12 and taste wonderful.
Yogi Surprise April 2016 Subscription Review + Coupon Code
~Bambooee Reusable Bamboo Towel ($1.99): I so wish that I could adjust myself to using reusable paper towels, but I just haven’t been able to.  Yet.  Paper towels are my weakness.  I use them for everything and I know I shouldn’t!  I did think this was much more absorbent than a regular paper towel though.

All totaled I came up with a value of $42.73 for the April 2016 Yogi Surprise.  That is under the cost of the box (without any coupons anyway) and is such a low value for Yogi Surprise.  I am wondering if that’s why they didn’t include any prices on the information card this month (they usually do).  I wasn’t feeling the box as it was, but once I added up the value I was even more disappointed.  The April box was an overall miss for me.  It seemed to have too many edible items and no real “big” stand-out item.

Did you get the April box?  What did you think?  If you are interested in signing up or just want to learn more, click here and use the coupon code “LOVEYOURSELF” or “GRATITUDE” to save 20% off per month for the LIFE of your subscription.  Also, it looks like they are offering a FREE Seva Amazon Rainforest Body Oil in your first box right now.  I can’t find an expiration date on the offer, but I would imagine it’s only valid as long as you see it on the sign-up page.  Once it’s no longer on the page anymore, I’d assume the deal is done.

Spread the love
