Hammock Pack May 2016 Subscription Box Review - "North Carolina"
Hammock Pack is a monthly surprise pack filled with everything you need to take a much-needed getaway without even leaving your home. Boxes are geared towards women and each month you will receive a pack filled with a mix of food, bath products, housewares, and accessories that you’d only find if you visited that month’s destination city.  I subscribe to the “Regular” Box.

Hammock Pack ships via USPS Priority Mail and is supposed to ship around the 25th of the month. Some months my box ships a little later than that and sometimes it’s a bit earlier.

Ohh, this box looked great! It seemed to have more items than normal!

The May 2016 “North Carolina” Hammock Pack included the following items:

~Poppy Popcorn Olive Oil & Rosemary ($5): This bag wasn’t the easiest thing to open and doesn’t reseal so I am guessing they think you will eat it all in one sitting.  That’s doable because it’s really good. The Rosemary isn’t too strong, but it’s enough to give you a great flavor.

~klen Steamer Aromatherapy Shower Steamer – Detox ($3.99): Subscribers will receive one of three different steamer assortments “Detox”, “Happy” or “Energize”.  I receieved Detox (which is awesome because I just reveived Happy in another box) which is a mix of essential oils blend to clear up congestion, help flush out toxins, ease headaches and relieve mental fatigue.  You just toss these on the floor of your shower and let them do the rest.  They are awesome.

~Salem Baking Co. Moravian Cookies – Chocolate ($4.99): These are thin wafer like chocolate cookies.  They are super yummy and hard to put away.

~Southern Elegance Candle Co. Charlotte Sage & Sweetgrass (~$10): The Sage and Sweetgrass scent is inspired by the storied history of Charlotte. This size candle was made just for Hammock Pack.  It smelled very calming to me and I think it will be a nice light scent for summer.

~Hennel Paper Co. Card ($4.50): I *think* there were a variety if cards sent out, but I am not 100% sure on that.  I received a cute Housewarming card.  It is hand-illustrated and hails from Hennel Paper Co., located in Charlotte, NC.

~Whispering Willow Lip Balm ($3): The final item in the box was a mint lip balm from Whispering Willow.  I am not super into mint balms, but I love lip balms so I will use every bit of this!

All totaled I came up with an estimated value of $31.48 for the May 2016 “North Carolina” Hammock Pack.  That’s just about the cost of the box and just about what I expect from Hammock Pack, but this box was awesome because it had so many different items.  Typically they just put 4 items in a box, but this one had 6 and I loved it.

What do you think of Hammock Pack?  What city / state would you like to see them do next?
