LaRitzy is a cruelty-free beauty subscription box for women. Each month you will receive a mix of products, from hair care to body lotion to a trendy nail polish. Most of the items will be full-sized, however, you might find a few luxury-size samples here and there.
LaRitzy ships on a monthly basis via USPS. Orders placed between the 10th of the current month and the 10th of next month will be shipped out the following month. For example, if you sign up on the 11th of May, you will receive the June box, and it will be shipped June 10th.
The May 2016 LaRitzy theme was “Summa Summa” and included the following items:
~Manna Kadar Cosmetics Lip Locked Priming Gloss Stain (Lucky) ($24): The information card indicated that the box would include a Bronzer/Highlighter Split Pan (as did the spoilers for this box), but the warehouse made an error and included the Gloss Stain (which was supposed to come in June) instead. The Split Pan will now be included in the June box. Lucky is a Nude Petal Pink and Lip Locked is a primer, a gloss and a lip stain all in one. The long lasted forever and I am quite pleased with the shade.
~Jacq’s Organics Carrot Seed Face Toner ($12): The card on this one indicated that the toner would be a “Sweet Orange”, but I received the Carrot Seed. It’s designed to soothe and hydrate your skin after cleansing and is to be applied before moisturizing. I am a big fan of toners and found this to be gentle and hydrating.
~#103 Foundation or Powder Brush by Glam Her Booth ($9):This is an all-purpose foundation or powder brush. I have never gotten the hang of using a brush for foundation, so I will be using this for powder. It’s vegan and the bristles are made from luxury synthetic materials while the handles are made from sustainable Birch forests.
~bellapierre Cosmetics Diamond Top & Base Coat ($15): For best results the information card suggests using this, then two layers of polish and then an additional coat of this on top. I am tired of my polish my lasting like it should so I am going to take the card’s advice from now on and do just this!
All totaled the May 2016 LaRitzy box. I am happy with the value of this one and don’t mind the mix-up with the Manna Kadar products at all.
