Nomadik is the premier subscription box for exploring. They deliver the best-in-class gear directly to your doorstep every other month. Each month you will receive 1 Main Product (such as a waterproof speaker, headlamp, 2-way radio or a phone case w/ fisheye lens), 1-3 Smaller Products (such as organic sunscreen, multi-tool, power pack or a fire starter kit) and 1-2 educational/ inspiration items (such as survival tips, travel guides or a photograph from top photographer).

The May 2016 Nomadik box included the following:
~Speaqua Barnacle + with Bluetooth & 4GB Memory ($64.95): I thought this was “just” a speaker, but it actually has 4GB built in memory so you don’t even need to connect it to your phone. You can store your music in here and just grab it and go. It also has Bluetooth connectivity, so you can stream music or take phone calls right through here. The best part is that it’s waterproof and dust proof. It even floats! This is ideal for summer and will be super handy up-north as well!
~AGS Carabiner Mug ($4.73): This Carabiner Mug can clip onto anything (like a backpack) and holds 8oz when filled to the brim. My 8 year-old will think this is cool for “camping” so it’s a win!
~The Friendly Swede Survival Grenade ($9.99): B LOVES this. It’s an emergency survival tool that contains aluminum foil, tinder, fire starter, fishing lines, fishing hooks, weights, swivels, dobber, knife blade and is wrapped in 500 lb paracord. I’d open it up to show you, but I know I will never be able to get it all back together (I don’t even know if you can). B grabbed this right away and put it with his Army gear because “you just never know”.
All totaled I came up with a value of $79.67 for the May 2016 Nomadik. I thought this was a strong first box from Nomadik and we will use everything in it.
