Little Lace Box is a subscription service that delivers hand-curated, nearly impossible-to-find designer products directly to your doorstep every other month. Boxes will be brimming with high-end, brand name beauty, lifestyle, and home product samples to treat yourself to and dazzle your friends during your next night out. They now also offer Serendipity by Little Lace Box. It’s $9.99/bi-monthly and is a separate subscription from LLB. Serendipity will be sent out every other month (on the off months of the Little Lace Box) and includes five to seven sample size (sometimes full-size) items that don’t have any theme attached at all, just great little finds that LLB wanted to share. This review is on the May 2016 Serendipity by Little Lace Box shipment.
Serendipity by Little Lace Box ships via USPS First Class Mail and takes just a few days to arrive.
I was totally spoiler free opening this one up and I have to admit, it was pretty fun to be “unspoiled”!
The May 2016 Serendipity by Little Lace Box included the following items to help “set the table” and get you ready for the June Little Lace Box, which is themed around dining alfresco:
~Alfresco Stemless Wine Glasses ($7.99): These are made out of real glass, but aren’t super fragile or super thick. I actually thought they might be plastic at first, but they are not. They are stemless and while they won’t save you from spills unless you just have a few sips yet (I tried), they aren’t as fragile as a “regular” wine glass either.
~Pack-n-Go Insulated Tote ($6.99): This is actually exactly what we need. We will be headed up-north a bunch this summer (including this weekend) and while it’s not a super long ride (it’s 3.5 hours), it’s long enough to need a few snacks and drinks. And we so don’t want to drag a giant cooler or stop every two minutes, so this is perfect! I will be using it this weekend! It also work for packing snacks for the beach or a picnic.
~Laguna Salt Company – Tuscan Rosemary ($6.95): This salt can be used on anything from fish to chicken to beef or even with olive oil as a dipping sauce for bread. It’s infused with fresh sage and rosemary and is delicious (I did a quick taste test). I am looking forward to BBQ’ing with this!
~Modish Polish (Apple of My Eye) ($12): This polish is vegan-friendly, 5-free and gluten-free. It doesn’t contain formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin or camphor. It’s a true BOLD red and I love the formula. It went on smoothly and evenly and wasn’t too runny or too thick. Perfect!
~Annie B’s Popcorn ($2): SO good! Subscription boxes tend to contain a lot of caramel popcorn, but not a lot of cheddar popcorn. W (my 4 year-old) and I are all over this!
All totaled the May 2016 Serendipity by Little Lace Box had a value of $35.93. As usual they packed a ton of value and fun stuff into a $10 box and I really don’t know how they do it. This was another win for sure.
What do you think of Serendipity by Little Lace Box? Boxes are currently sold out, but I will post as soon as we hear about the next sale which would begin with the July box! Want to see what to expect from Serendipity? Check out all my previous reviews!
If you are interested in Little Lace Box you can use coupon code “RAMBLIN10” to save $10 off your first box of a 6 (aka 3 boxes) or 12 (aka 6 boxes) month subscription. The June 2016 Little Lace Box theme is “Heavenly Day” and we know that all boxes will include Wine Flight / Tasting Papers ($16.99 value)!
From Little Lace Box:
Since starting Little Lace Box, we’ve gotten to know many of our subscribers on a personal level. This is an experience that has been both rewarding and heartbreaking, because there are a lot of people out there who are truly hurting. We’ve tried to be helpful whenever possible, and when we do, we see their smiles shining right through our keyboards. Last year on a visit to Chicago, we were lucky enough to experience something called Ravinia Festival. It’s a place just outside of Chicago, and for those of you from Chicago, you probably can say much more about it than I, but while I was there, for one brief shining moment, all my troubles went away. Not for long; not forever, not it made me wish that everyone have a day when their troubles go away. And I thought of the Patty Griffin song, “Heavenly Day.” Patty sings,
“No one at my should bringing me fears
Got no clouds up above bringing me tears
On this Heavenly..heavenly day, all the troubles gone away
for a while anyway, for a while anyway”
I guess a Heavenly Day means something different to each of us. To me, it means, a picnic in the park, going barefoot, feeling warm, staring at beautiful clear skies lit by stars, eating homemade ice cream and enjoying good music, good friends and family. So for all of our subscribers, we know life takes a certain arc, and nothing we do at LLB will chance it, but we want our June Little Lace Box to help you have a heavenly day. A day when “all the clouds blew away” and you can “Lay here and watch the trees sway…for a while anyway, for a while anyway”.
