1. What shows / series are you into right now? B doesn’t have any traveling to do for a while (aka a few weeks) and I would like to find a new (to us) series that we would both enjoy. Any suggestions? We both liked Breaking Bad, Homeland, Better Call Saul, etc. I tried to get into Scandal but just couldn’t. Maybe we should give it another chance???
2. What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? I LOVE ice-cream and I think my all-time favorite is mint chocolate chip. Or Mackinaw Island Fudge (that’s not just a Michigan ice-cream flavor is it)? I really like Ben & Jerry’s Salted Caramel Core (like way too much), but I haven’t been able to find it lately so it may have been discontinued (that’s probably a good thing though). What about you? What’s your favorite? And do you prefer soft-serve / frozen yogurt or hard (hand-scooped?) ice-cream?
1) You should watch Quantico! It is so so good-can’t wait for the season finale next week. Also, throwing it way back here, but the Veronica Mars series are really good 🙂
2) I love ice cream too–I generally go for something with peanut butter and lots of mix ins…anything Ben and Jerry’s is always a win! I love frozen yogurt and ice cream…give me either and I’m happy 🙂
If you have Amazon Prime, try Bosch. It’s a great Drama!
I recommend trying out Shameless…we got into it after we finished binging breaking bad. Also if you haven’t been watching The Detour on TBS it’s a seriously hilarious show. Happy Tuesday!
Do you have Netflix? My husband and I were really into Bloodline. I’ve heard a second season is coming, but I don’t know if it’s been cancelled.
Ice cream is like my drug of choice. I don’t drink a lot of coffee, but my favorite is Haagen Daaz coffee. Once I start, it’s almost impossible to stop.
1-Do you watch Game of Thrones? If not, it is a must! Definitely the best show on television by far! Also, The Killing was a good show. It was only like 4 seasons but was good. I had hoped another network would have picked it up and kept it going but that didn’t happen. And my other fav is Banshee…LOVE this show, it’s great! It is in its final season and I’m sad because it is SO good! I think that is also 4 seasons.
Don’t hate me, but I cannot get into Game of Thrones!!! I’m weird about shows set in different eras. LOL! I will check out the other two though for sure!
2-Ben & Jerrys Peanut Butter Cup, Talenti sea salt caramel, and Culvers (do you have those in MI? we are in WI) cheesecake custard as in any kind of fruit (strawberry-cherry-raspberry) cheesecake custard they make is thee best!
We do have Culvers! We just got them a few years ago here. I do love their concrete mixers.
1). We are constantly watching Netflix and looking for new shows. I second the recommendation for The Killing it was a great mystery show. An older series my husband and I liked was Dexter. We just recently finished The Walking Dead and I surprisingly loved it. The Ranch was a nice light comedy with Ashton Kutcher. If you have Starz, Outlander is an amazing show!!
2) It’s sad to say but I pretty much like all icecream! I like anything will chocolate in it. 🙂
1. Walking Dead! Fear (the spinoff) is pretty good, too… but it was harder to get into.
2. Cold Stone sweet cream, it’s the best! I like it with no toppings!
Bosch is good on Amazon, Justified is available on amazon or nextflix (we both loved this show…)
We’re looking for new shows too. Just watched The Ranch which was a pretty dumb comedy, but we’ll watch more when it comes out (Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, Sam Elliot). Tried to get into Kimmy Schmidt, might try again if we can’t find anything else to watch.
Oh someone said the Hand of God or something like that is good. It’s either Netflix or Amazon.
Have you tried The Americans? It’s excellent. The main characters are Soviet spies who have been living in Washington DC for 20 years living double lives. It’s half spy thriller, half a drama about their marriage and family life.
I came in to suggest The Americans and now I am here to 2nd and my boyfriend will third The Americans. It is the best show. So good and so suspenseful and so compelling. It absolutely baffles me as to why more people aren’t watching it! its on Amazon Prime. Friday Night Lights is wonderful too. It is about SOOOO much more than football. P.S. Emily you have great taste!
Watch Billions! we have also been watching Last Man on Earth. It is pretty weird but I keep watching it for some reason. Also, new girl! So funny!
Quantico, madam secretary, I think that’s about it for what I watch.
Try Shameless or if you have Netflix, Sons of Anarchy. I was never a fan of bikers or the concept, but after one show, my husband and I were hooked!!! Crazy, but great show, both of them! 🙂
My current favorites are How to Get Away With Murder, Empire, and Once Upon a Time.
We just finished Billions and I liked it. Also, have you seen the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt? It’s hysterical and definitely worth checking out if you haven’t seen it. It’s on Amazon Prime. I thought Better Call Saul was so good this last season – I wish it wasn’t over!
I go through phases with Ice Cream. I think my favorite is Pistachio. Most brands will do but have you seen the Talenti Gelato is very good!

How To Get Away with Murder and The Family are both amazing!
Season 2 of Scandal is MUCH better than season 1. But honestly I have a love-hate relationship with it. I’m rewatching The Walking Dead. And I’m always rewatching West Wing. Josh Molina (from later seasons of west wing and currently on Scandal) has a podcast called West Wing Weekly where they talk about the episodes and have guest stars on. It’s pretty awesome.
My favorite icecream by far is the mango mochi from the Asian market. Lol. It tastes way more like real mango than any other sorbet I’ve had and I love the mochi coating.
1- we watch way too many shows. If you have Amazon prime Bosch is good. On Netflix marvels agents of shield is good too.
2- anything with pb and chocolate. The tonight dough by Ben and jerrys is a current favorite. It is SO good. I want some, but I also want my 30 pounds of pregnancy weight gone too lol
1. Hubby and I like to watch Person of Interest and Suits together, if you haven’t watched those yet.
2. Peanut butter chocolate. Bonus – nobody else in my house likes it, so if I buy a carton it’s all mine!
