White Willow Box is a monthly Canadian based lifestyle subscription box. Each box will contain four to five sample / full-sized products ranging from: beauty and personal care products, fashion accessories, home decor accents, culinary delights, technology gadgets and other lifestyle surprises. The box is $43.50 CAD shipped within Canada or $54.50 CAD shipped to the States. With the current exchange rate it works out to $42 USD (shipped to the US).
White Willow Box ships from Canada and took about a week to arrive. It ships directly from Canada and must clear customs, so it may take a few weeks or it could just take a few days.
I always think the packaging on this is so pretty.
The May 2016 White Willow Box included the following:
~Dauville Bottle Coaster in Gold ($18): I knew as soon as I carried this box in from the mailbox that something had happened. And sure enough this bottle coaster was smashed. I e-mailed them to see how they would handle it and I will update when I hear back. I would assume they will offer a replacement and I so hope they do because thus would be great to help keep the wine rings off the table. ETA: White Willow Box will be sending the replacement along with my June box.
~Artisan Edibles Jelly ($10): Subscribers will receive either one of two flavors – Raspberry Cardamon or Blueberry Lavender. I received the Raspberry. They use local, in-season produce and the box included a cheese pairing guide.
~Striped Infinity Scarf ($18): White Willow Box that these scarves, which come in one of three colors (pink, blue or brown) would be in this box. I was a tad disappointed at first that I didn’t receive the blue or pink, but I realized that the brown (aka Cafe Latte) would be more me anyway. It’s much softer than I expected and I love it.
~Flora Bodycare All Natural “Vanilla + Coconut” Body Scrub ($13): This scrub is vegan, all-natural and cruelty-free. It smells amazing and I am absolutely thrilled with it. The package says it should last 5-6 uses and it felt very luxurious.
~Brookside Dark Chocolate Soft Fruit Flavored Treat ($4): My boys love these! They are dark chocolate covered acai and blueberries. So good!
All totaled I came up with a value of $63 (USD) for the May 2016 White Willow box. I am quite pleased with this box (assuming the coaster is replaced) and love their selections.
