Birchbox offers 4-6 (sometimes more) hand-picked beauty and lifestyle samples, delivered to your door each month. I have been subscribing to Birchbox for five years now and would say they are one of the most (maybe the most) well-known subscription boxes out there. They are certainly one of the longest lasting boxes.

Birchbox ships via USPS and all boxes generally ship by the 10th of the month.

This review is on the regular October 2017 Birchbox.  The October 2017 Curated Birchbox was also available in the shop.

My October 2017 Birchbox included the following items:

~Oui Rose Hair & Body Oil (9.2mL) ($2.98): Like a perfume for your hair!  The rose scent is a little strong at first, but once you use and the scent is in your hair, it’s amazing.  It smoothed my fly-aways and added shine too.

~The Beauty Crop Glow Milk Liquid Highlighter (4mL) ($9.25): super similar to Benefit’s High Beam, but less pink and more brown.  It’s amazing. You just need a little to keep you shining all day.

~Lipstick Queen Lip Liner (Nude) (.02oz) ($9): Nude isn’t really nude at all. It’s a red with brown undertones.  Highly pigmented and very flattering!

~Avène Hydrance Light Hydrating Emulsion (15mL) ($12):  This cream was lightweight and thick at the same time. It absorbs quickly without leaving any residue.  A solid, everyday moisturizer.

~Lavanila The Healthy Fragrance Vanilla Coconut Eau de Parfum (~$1): I love every single scent I have ever tried from Lavanila. This one is a blend of young coconut, Madagascar vanilla, and Tahitian tiaré flower.  My only complaint is that this isn’t larger ;).

My October 2017 Birchbox had a value of $34.23. I loved this box.  Probably in my Top 5 all-time Birchbox boxes.  I have been getting Birchbox for five years now, so that is really saying something!
