Beauty Box 5 July 2016 Subscription Box Review

Beauty Box 5 delivers a sample box of all things beauty. Each box contains 4 – 5 samples of a variety of makeup, skin care, fragrances and everything in between!  Boxes are $12/month if you do a month-to-month subscription, however, the price drops if you subscribe for an extended period.

Beauty Box 5 ships via DHL and I typically receive my box between the 10th and 15th of the month.

The July 2016 Beauty Box 5 theme was “Road Trip Ready” and included the following items:

~Hikari Cosmetics Eye Shadow (Coal) ($13): This eye shadow is a little dark for me (it’s a Matte Black), but I have some friends who I know it will work perfectly for. It’s highly pigmented so apply it with a light hand.

~Beauty Box 5 Round Blending Brush ($10): This soft brush is used to “buff eyeshadow and sweep on glowing highlight”. It’s BB5 branded and says “Can’t Stop Contouring!” on it

~Skinny Tan Mini Mitt ($4.95): This mini mitt helps you apply self-tanner evenly and streak free.  This is for sure for hard to reach spots because it’s so small. It’d take you forever to do your entire body with it!

~Sweep Rose Gold Tweezers ($14): These are gorgeous!  OMG so pretty.  They are sharp and so easy to use too.

~Chella Tantalizing Taupe Eyebrow Color Pencil ($18): This is a mechanical pencil-style eyebrow pencil. This is another item that I think would better suit one of my friends so, I will be passing this along.  I don’t “do” my brows enough to make it worth it to keep this one for myself.

All totaled I came up with a value of $59.95 for the July 2016 Beauty Box 5.  Although I won’t use everything in here myself, I thought it was a nice box.  The tweezers alone were worth the cost of the box for me.
