Birchbox Man (as pictured here) is $20/month and sends you monthly deliveries of deluxe grooming and lifestyle samples, tailored to your profile. With Birchbox Man you can try cult brands, up-and-coming lines, and everything in between.
They have also just launched Birchbox Man Beta! It’s $10/month and contains four deluxe samples from a single grooming category, like shave cream, cologne, moisturizer, etc. These categories are selected according to the online profile you fill out at the start of your membership. It sounds like if you are already signed for up the Lifestyle Box (which I am) you will continue to receive that box. If you new to Birchbox, you can opt for the new Birchbox Man Beta or you can e-mail them (beta@birchbox.com) to get subscribed to the original Lifestyle Box.
For some reason I can’t find any information about the new $10 Birchbox Man box on their site right now. It seems to flip-flop between the $10 box and the $20/box. I will keep you posted if Birchbox makes a final decision on which box will be the new monthly box.
Birchbox Man ships via USPS (through Newgistics) and generally arrives during the first few days of the month or the last few days or the previous month.
I always peek at B’s Birchbox Man boxes, but opening them is still fun!
Our August 2016 Birchbox Man box included the following items:
~Boka Toothpaste (10mL) ($0.68): Boka is an all-natural toothpaste that is free of fluoride, parabens, and SLS. It’s minty and leaves your mouth clean and fresh.
~PLANT Matcha Antioxidant Face Mask (20mL) ($8): This mask draws out dirt and oil while also knocking out free radicals and other irritants. It’s designed to be mixed with water, but you can totally mix it with yogurt or honey another liquid of your choice to make it fit your needs even better.
~Histoires de Parfums This is Not a Blue Bottle (~$1): This scent has a lot happening! It’s a mixture of bright citrus and earthy patchouli along with sweet honey and mellow amber. It’s a little strong for this hot weather, but I might end up liking it more in winter?
~Baxter of California Invigorating Body Wash (30mL) ($1.80): This smells good and it works, so it’s a win. It’s supposed to hydrate your skin while also getting you nice and clean.
~Eastern Collective Lightning Cable ($25.95): We always need more iPhone / iPad cables around here. This one is 3 feet long so it’s a decent size and will be nice in the car.
All totaled I came up with a value of $37.43 for our August 2016 Birchbox Man box. That’s on the lower side for this box and since you can no longer review items for points, it’s not overly impressive. I did, however, like all of the items in the box.
