The My Pretend Place Dress Up subscription ships every three months. Shipments the 2nd and 3rd months are absolutely FREE and are included in the cost of the subscription.
The July 2016 My Pretend Place Dress Up subscription included the following “Astronaut” themed items:
~Melissa & Doug Astronaut Role Play Set ($24.99): This set includes a silver jumpsuit, silver gloves, and a cool shiny helmet. My 4-year-old couldn’t wait to try it on. It’s designed for ages 3-7, and he had plenty of room to grow in there. So cute!
~Astronaut Handbook by Meghan McCarthy ($14.66): This book is designed for little ones who want to be astronauts when they grow up. Or if they just want to pretend they are astronauts. It’s really cute, and the illustrations were great.
~Astronaut Ice Cream – Chocolate Ice Cream with Chocolate Chips ($3) and Mint Chocolate Chip ($3): OMG I remember having this as a kid and I loved it. It was always so cool to eat like the astronauts. Of course, it doesn’t taste like real ice-cream, but it’s a nice treat and fun way to pretend.
~Rocket Ship Craft: All My Pretend Place boxes include a craft relating to that month’s theme. This months was a rocket ship. I am saving it for a rainy day project, but it seems easy enough to do.
Month #1 On the “off” months of the dress-up delivery, subscribers will receive additional themed activities and inspirational content related to your dress-up theme. I received mine along with my dress-up box so that I could show what else was included when you purchase the subscription.
All totaled I came up with a value of $45.65 for the July 2016 My Pretend Place. That’s slightly less than the cost of the box, but I also didn’t include the value of the craft.
If you are interested in subscribing to My Pretend Place you can use the coupon code “pretend” to save 30% off your first box which brings the cost down to only $35!
