~Good evening! First things first, W did amazing as the Ring Bearer in my cousin’s wedding. Like he NAILED it. He walked down the aisle, posed for pictures, walked into the reception when he got introduced, everything. There was a lot of ice-cream eating in between tasks and the promise of a car ramp, but he did so so good. L was thrilled he had NO jobs to do and happily hung out with other kids at the wedding playing beach volleyball. I couldn’t be prouder of them.
~The Target summer clearance has hit 90% off! I didn’t pick up much (more sunscreen, some dive-thru pool pool rings, a few straw cups, etc.), but it was fun looking through everything. If you went, what’d you get?
~I tried the new Coconut Milk Mocha Macchiato and meh, I am not feeling it. It looks pretty, but I am going to stick with my trusty Caramel Macchiato.
~And finally, I want to tell you that we had to say goodbye to our sweet Baxter
. He was a good dog the best dog and I miss him so much already (like I am kind of a mess). But I know he’s not suffering anymore so for that I am thankful. W doesn’t really understand, but L does and he’s understandably very sad. I can’t really tell about Buddy – he’s a hard dog to read.
I’m so sorry about Baxter. It’s understandable that you’re a mess right now. Our dogs aren’t just pets. They are family. Y’all will be in my thoughts. Big hugs from Texas.

I’m SO sorry for the loss of your fur-baby! I’m so sad for you. A lot of us have been there- recently for me, one ‘naturally’ in my arms and one with constant pain that I had to let go at the vet’s office. It’s heartbreaking & I’m with you & your family.

I’m sorry for your loss of your adorable pup. I went through the same thing a year ago and it was very tough. I even talked to a pet pychic, got a teddy bear to put some of his ashes in and a pendant with his ashes. He was my best friend. It just takes time to move on from the extreme sadness to being able to smile and not cry when you think of him. Hugs.

Awe I’m so sorry about Baxter. We’ve had to put down family pets .. My sons are adults now but still have fond memories of all our pets. As sad as it is you will all get to the point where you only remember the happy times not any of the suffering.

My sweet beautiful Snickers passed away last Aprik. I want to say it gets easier with time but I would be lying. It doesn’t get easier but first at least you’re always seen something reminds you of your puppy. Whether it’s a stray bone or a sweater for a toy it makes you burst into tears. I cried myself to sleep for almost entire year. A year and a half later my heart hurts less it never dolls memory of her instead I honor her by loving my other two dogs in living for her. I promise you that your Baxter crossed the rainbow bridge and he’s happy he’s frolicking .

I am so sorry to hear about Baxter. This has been a rough summer for my family too. We lost our 18 year old cat in may and our 11 year old golden to cancer last week. Both were equally as devastating. Pets become our family members in so many ways. The first few days are the hardest. You gave him a great life with so much love.
